Great solution for my running headphones! The long adapters kept getting kinked in my elbow while on my arm for running. This has eliminated that issue and works great so far. I love this design. Not sure why Apple doesn’t make them like this. Update 07/2022: After almost 2 years, it has stopped working reliably. It will give the error that it’s not compatible. Not every time, but enough to be annoying now. Leaving my review as-is and just ordered a replacement.

Bought this as it seemed like a clever alternative to the usual corded dongle adaptors that ultimately break from use. I used this twice sitting at my desk to listen to music on my iPhone. Never left my desk, never stressed in any way. Went to use it again and the iPhone no longer recognizes it, phone plays audio over the speaker only when this is plugged in. Other headphone jacks work fine. Look elsewhere if you are looking for something that will last longer than a week. UPDATE: I submitted a query to the seller as the listing claims the item has a warranty. The seller quickly responded, apologized for the inconvenience, and offered to refund my purchase price if I purchased another unit, which I did. New unit arrived a couple days later and it works perfectly, so I am a happy camper once again. I can personally attest they will back their advertised warranty, excellent customer service. I am seeing a few other reviews with similar issues so there may still be a quality control or inherent design issue causing premature failure. I will update here if the issue resurfaces with the new unit, until then I am thoroughly enjoying a cable-free dongle existence. Update 7/30/21: New replacement unit stopped working 10 days after I got it. Definite quality issues.

This adapter works great. I love the 90° configuration and the hard molded design which should keep from having the many failures that I’ve incurred with the flexible dongle type adapters.

Original review 1 star: The adapter worked well in the beginning with iPhone. Able to hear clearly with headphones and then 2.5 months later the adapter just stopped working during use. At the most the adapter was used once a week. The adapter wasn't dropped or mishandled. In fact it's usually placed on my night table when not in use. I tried contacting the seller regarding the warranty but to no avail. Highly recommend not to purchase this item. Update 12/7/22: Soon after I submitting the review, the seller contacted me and offered to send a replacement. Great CS! Thank you. Changing the rating from 1 star to 4 star.

It works well for a good 6+ months but no more than a year. I bought this product over another similarly reviewed one, even though this was more expensive, solely for the insurance promise of a free replacement within a year. My device stopped working completely, just no sound or anything after ~9 months. The post no longer says anything about the 1 year warranty except to talk to the original manufacturer. I’ve inquired their official website and received no response after a reasonable amount of days. Its better than some others out there but not as advertised which is kind of disappointing.
