This is a great tool depending on the type of headphones you have. I didn’t realize this was specifically sold for the AirPods Pro version. I have the original AirPods that don’t have the little silicone ends on them. This tool was great for cleaning the case they go in, but missed the mark for me on cleaning the metal mesh on the inside part of the bud. Used the tool on my husband’s Powerbeats headphones and it did great. In the end to get mine fully clean I ended up using a ticky tack type substance to get the yuck left in the metal mesh, as shown in my photo.

I didn’t realize how gross my earbuds were until I used this little cleaner. The Hagibis pen is compact but super effective—it has a soft brush, a little spongey tip, and even a metal point that gets into all the hard-to-reach spots. I used it on my AirPods Pro, and now they look brand new. Works great on the case too, especially around the hinge and charging port. If you’re even a little OCD about keeping your tech clean, you’ll love this. Cheap, easy to use, and oddly satisfying!
