Diving into summer, I bought this rice container hoping it would help keeping the grains in good condition. I've used this for about a week and so far I am overall satisfied with this purchase. PROS - It is easy to use. I don't have to take out rice from the heavy-original package anymore. Pushing the button 4 times makes about 1 serving for my rice cooker. - I like that the top part is half transparent, showing how much is left inside. The design is also simple. CONS - The size is a bit taller than I expected, and I wish it was a bit smaller. You can see how big it is compared to the cereal boxes. - I am not 100% confident about the quality of the rice container, and the top lid to seal it. It seems a little bit fragile to me.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve been looking for a rice dispenser and found this one that fit what I wanted and needed, aesthetic- and size-wise. However, there’s one thing that prevents me from giving it a 5 star. Starting with the good stuff first, it comfortably holds my remaining ~17 lbs of rice with a lot of space left still, so I have no doubt it’ll hold the 25 lbs as described. When it came to assembly, the material is soft plastic so it came a bit warped. It was a hassle to put together to the point of being annoying but nothing difficult. I had to use my body weight to push down the gray border at the top. At least I know it’s firmly shut. Now with the airtightness. The white lid on top closes well, so I have no problem with that. My complaint is with the dispenser. As I was pouring the rice into the container, I noticed a few grains coming out as shown in the video. I felt around and found that it has a small gap between the button and the container opening. I can’t say whether it’s a defect due to warped plastic or poor design - all I can say is I’m worried what might happen to the grains. This item isn’t eligible for return so I will keep it. It’s a beautiful piece of kitchen item, but I’m disappointed that my food may potentially get contaminated. Fingers crossed that it doesn’t 🤞

Since we had kids we burn through rice like crazy. This dispenser is great for us. I had one little problem with the dispenser mechanism sticking, there was a couple of little lips on the parts the hold the slider down that looked like left over from the plastic mold, I shaved those down with a utility knife and now the mechanism is smooth like butter.

This bin actually fits on top of my counter. It’s slim but holds a whole 25lb bag of cal rose rice. It doesn’t have an automatic 1cup measure like some rice bins, where it will stop at a one cup and you will have to press the button multiple times. If you know how to measure the water for rice with your finger, you really don’t need one that measures a cup at a time. The top could be a little more air tight, but it’s okay. All in all happy with the purchase.

I purchased this to have a larger container for my rice. I love how it fits nicely on the counter and not become an eye sore. The clear measuring cup is convenient as you can measure and rinse in the same cup. I also took a picture next to my Keurig machine for size comparison.
