This is a fantastic bin. It is taller than I was expecting, which was a bonus. The material and workmanship is good. The most important factors are that the handles are very securely attached and the rim is very sturdy. It feels like it is a metal ring sewn into the seam. The lid seems to be covered plastic that is sturdy, but also lightweight and flexible. Pressing a container through the rubber hole is easy. This is important because in my house, it would otherwise wind up with us just not using the lid. The top hole will accept gatorade sized bottles but even if something doesn't fit in the hole, it is very easy to flip up the top for larger items. Previously, I used a mesh bag laundry hamper for my recyclables. This was the best solution I had at the time. It worked okay, but if I skipped taking out the recycling too long or had larger bottles in there, the mesh bag would bulge and be difficult to remove from the holder and to manage. This has a little bit of flex to it but keeps the contents neatly contained in the space they're meant to be in. The lip is just a tad wider than the sides, eliminating the issue of having a stuffed bag be difficult to remove. I added my mesh bag to this because it is just easier for me and helps things recently rinsed to dry out but it could definitely work just fine without it. For me, it is a personal preference. This goes together very easily. Just open the velcro tab and slide the poles in. Done. I've been through many bins and bags through the years and I think this is the best solution yet. I am very happy with this and happy to recommend it.

It didn't seem to come with instructions, though most of it is pretty intuitive. The one point of difficulty was in unpacking the bin. It'll look like there's no way to make it taller, but if you reach down to the bottom, you'll be able to pull it upwards. Basically, the top half is folded down over the bottom half. From there, it's pretty simple to put it all together. Previously, we were using a trash bin for recycling, but the bin came with a lid, which made it really hard to turn the bin upside down when dumping everything into the curbside recycling bin. We'd resorted to lining the bin with a trash bag, but that seemed sort of counterproductive: the point is to make less trash, not more. So an internal bag that lets you carry out the recycling without taking the entire bin. A decent cost for a good product.

This recycle bin is good quality material. It was very easy to put together and easily folds flat when not needed. I love the large size, my old one was really small so I love that this holds a lot. Love the functionality of the lid. You can put it through the opening or lift the lid for bigger things. Plus the black color looks great in the kitchen. I love the inner bag that easily lifts out to carry to the recycling center. It connects securely inside and is easy to disconnect and take out. Very happy with this!!

Really easy to put together. Awesome size and it is deceptively sturdy. I got this as a larger and nicer looking alternative to my metal bin for my plastic/tin recycling and it's great. If it doesn't fit in the hole, easy to just lift the lid to put the recycling in. My 2 litre bottles and milk jugs are too big for the hole, but that's not an issue. Already having a removable bag inside to just grab and go is also perfect. It's also lightweight, so that is a plus. Nice, functional, and much nicer than a big metal bin.

Love the functionality of this bin. Before this, I'd been using empty tubs of kitty litter for my recyclables, which were unsightly and filled up way too quickly. I can go a few weeks without having to make a trip to the recycling center with the 100L capacity. I love that it has a reusable liner so I'm not wasting plastic or lugging around an unwieldy bin. Big fan of the flip top design instead of having to fuss with zippers or velcro when it comes time to unload or when inserting oversized containers. Just a very useable product that is reasonably attractive.

Very simple design and easy to assemble. Mine did not come with instructions but the photos in the Amazon product page help with that. The material is a medium to light weight fabric so if anything wet goes in it, it will soak through. To use this effectively, I suggest only disposing plastics or aluminum AFTER washing and allowing some dry time. Cans and bottles will be easy enough to dispose of through the hole in the top. Anything else, like a half gallon jug or bigger, you will have to lift the lid. While this is a decent recycling receptacle, it could be a great laundry hamper as well. The removeable bag inside help make emptying easier. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting to keep their recycling more organized and tidy.

After inserting fiberglas rods into the four corners, the bin will stand on its own. Secure the inner liner bag and close the lid. The lid has a slotted opening for placing recyclables into the bin, or lift the lid to add larger items. We had been using a short rigid plastic bin with a utilitarian style. We had to stoop over to lift the lid to place items inside that bin, and it has a larger footprint and doesn't hold as much. The Lifewit 100L recycling bin is at waist height, and a thousand times more attractive in our kitchen. Once full, we simply take the inner liner bag out to dump the contents into our outdoor collection bin. Much easier. Perfect solution for indoor recycling collection.
