  • Superb quality!
Color: Pumice Stone Size: 48 Quart
Just what I needed and more! Before buying this, I looked at all kinds of coolers for years! I have been looking for a size that would better suit my trips than my other, cheaper, oversized (~70qt) cooler. The 28qt is the size and capacity I've been looking for! Everything looks and feels like it's all great quality and very durable. ... show more

  • Great and sturdy cooler for the money!
Color: Arctic White Size: 65 Quart
I bought this cooler for an upcoming hunting trip and I have to say, it is exactly what I wanted. I did a lot of research on a "rugged cooler" that wouldn't break the bank and this one fits the bill perfectly so to speak (no pun intended). You can tell this is a solid cooler from the get go. The thickness of the cooler is easily 2 inches on each side with little to no give when sitting on the lid. It shuts/seals nice and tight to make sure that no cold air will escape or let any hot air in. I can really feel how sturdy it is when picking it up (it's not overly heavy) and the rope handles are perfect. The bottle openers on each side are also a nice added bonus. 🙂 Best of all, this cooler won't totally break your wallet so if it does get lost or stolen (let's hope not! 😅) your wallet may only shed a couple of tears vs. create a miniature waterfall. All in all, I'm very happy I purchased this cooler and I can't wait to use in many upcoming hunting/camping trips! 😃 Not to mention it's awesome that it's made in the USofA. 🤘 ***Update 6/15/2020 *** I took this cooler with me last weekend on my hunting trip and it kept all of my frozen packs frozen and there was hardly any water at the bottom of the cooler after I got home. The cooler was sitting in my Montero all day Saturday and it was least 85 to 90 degrees inside of the car. I also opened the cooler multiple times to throw in drinks/beer. I'm glad I picked a winner. Lifetime, if you ever read this, thanks a lot for making such an awesome cooler! :D I plan to also get a smaller version as well for picnics. ... show more

  • Two Great Premium Coolers-the 65 Quart and 28 Quart
Color: Orange Pumice Stone Size: 65 Quart
I read a ton of reviews about every brand and all the features of coolers and then I saw a video of a car fire and it literally burned to the ground but there was a Lifetime cooler inside the vehicle, and when they went to look, they opened up the cooler and everything inside was still good and the ice was still in there. Then I went to a picnic and friends had this very cooler and told me how much they love it. That sold me on this Lifetime cooler. Plus, it’s American made, which I just really love. I’m not camping with bears much these days, but if you are, this is a solid choice. The features of this cooler that mattered most to me are the ice retention…it goes for days without melting, and I appreciate that it’s lockable (for people not bears), easier to carry around with the rope handles —two people can easily grab a handle and share the load, and it’s a really good size for a couple days on the river. Add in the price point compared to similar coolers and it’s the clear winner. So glad I read the reviews before almost getting a different brand. EDITED: We liked the cooler we got so much we decided to give one as a wedding gift for a family member...but we got them the 28 Quart one in the second photo since they're just starting out and don't have a ton of space. This wasn't something on their registry, but they were so stoked about it. It's the kind of thing you're not necessarily thinking about, but which you'll use for decades. They live in a rural hot climate and keep it in their car for bringing home frozen and cold items from the grocery store and said that's been a revelation for them. I had never thought of doing that so I'm going to keep a cooler in my trunk now, too. Even just the 20 minutes from the store to home...it'll make a difference. ... show more

  • Decent Quality But Some Minor Drawbacks
Color: Arctic White Size: 115 Quart
I purchased this cooler to haul frozen beef across three states in 24 hours at -10degF. I had five different coolers and this one by far performed the best. The other four were from Mammoth, Igloo, and Coleman. After two days, the Lifetime had the most Dry-Ice left. The Mammoth was a close second. the Coleman and Igloo coolers were not of the same build quality and were rated as "6-day" coolers so it is no surprise that I had to add more dry-ice to them than the others. Though these appear to be a decent build and very tough, there are a few minor drawbacks with them. First, don't expect the lock holes to be of any use. One side is stainless steel but the other side, the lid, is simply the lid's plastic. A screwdriver could pop the hole. Second, and this is actually typical of all the "rotomold" coolers, they have a good amount of mass which makes them heavier and you have to pre-cool the inside. Otherwise, ice or other frozen contents will melt just to cool down the mass of plastic. Also, the rubber seal on the lid kept coming off. It is not glued in, just tucked into a groove. It was easy to re-seat every time but annoying to take the time to do so. Also, I think the extremely low temperature of the dry-ice caused it to shrink so it now no longer seals all the way around. I have not used this cooler long-term so it will be interesting to see how it holds up. These appear to be as solid as the Lifetime folding plastic portable tables which I think hold up relatively well. And the plastic did not warp with the extreme cold temperatures. Overall, I think this cooler is a good value for a cooler of this type. ... show more

  • Certified Bear proof at a reasonable price.
Color: Arctic White Size: 115 Quart
This is the second cooler I purchased. After I bought my first one I was like I have to have another one. It’s certified bear proof. And for the price it’s a bargain. Other brands like yeti are triple the price . All I want is my elk meat cool and safe . I place these things in the shade under a tree while I sleep in the bed of my truck. I do use a cable to secure them to a tree trunk just in case a bear comes by and tries to take them. I thought of other brands but learned they’re not bear proof certified ... show more
