  • Life Saver
Color: Kyoto Orange Size: 24 Ounces
Brought this with me to Peru, which has locations they tell you not to drink the water. Regardless, used this bottle and had no issue. Saves money by not having to constantly purchase bottles of water. The weight, quality and design all make it worth traveling with. However, it requires some force to “suck” water through the life straw. ... show more

  • Great bottle
Color: Kyoto Orange Size: 24 Ounces
I bout 2 of these for a trip. They are cheaper than other filter bottles but work great. They are easy to assemble, clean, and fill. My favorite part is that the mouth piece is completely protect from anything so clean freaks like me don't have to worry about it staying clean.

Took to Bali with me and it worked great. Make sure you use it before leaving because getting water through the straw was tough at first, but understand because of the filter

  • Clean water for travel or camping
Color: Kyoto Orange Size: 24 Ounces
This water bottle is great for travel or camping. I took this to Spain and the filter made the water taste great! I like the design of the cap. One twist and it comes off quickly. Easy to fill and clean. Kept my water cold. Only drawback is the straw. Sucking water through the straw is how the water is purified. When you are really thirsty it is hard to get water out fast enough. ... show more

  • Spent a week in Costa Rica - no illnesses
Color: Kyoto Orange Size: 24 Ounces
We bought two bottles due to conflicting information about the issues with local water in Costa Rica. We very carefully used two LifeStraw bottles with tap water on excursions and in the hotel and drank bottled water in restaurants which was ubiquitous. The LifeStraw bottles are easy to carry with the screw off handles and really not that hard to use despite the extra resistance from the complex filtration systems. It would be impossible to prove if these bottles made a difference but we were not going to experiment after hearing stories about travelers getting very ill from the water. In fairness, we saw many tourists drinking local water but for us these bottles provided security. They will be a fixture on all our future trips to eliminate at least one source of traveler GI issues. ... show more

Great for peace of mind while traveling. Also, convenient to spin out of while driving or hiking. And love the color.

  • Does not work for air travel
Color: Kyoto Orange Size: 24 Ounces
This bottle spews water like a fountain whenever opened on an airplane. Purchased for travel and cannot be used. Don't buy if this is your intended use.

  • Smell
Color: Kyoto Orange Size: 24 Ounces
It’s a great water bottle for filtering and keeping the water cold, the only problem I have is I’ve only had it a couple months, I clean it every week, but there’s a horrid smell in the mouth piece that I can’t seem to get out. There’s no mold, it’s perfectly clean but no matter what I do I can’t get the smell to go away. It sucks, I love the water bottle, the water always tastes cold, clean, and fresh. I just can’t get over the smell that built up, and I’m not sure how it started smelling since I clean it regularly ... show more
