We have many children so we currently have 6 iPhones. We only use lifeproof and have for so many years I have lost count. I can say we have purchased at least 15 cases. My oldest teenage son dropped his iPhone 8 Plus in our pool in the winter and did not want to dive in the cold water to retrieve it. It took 15 minutes to get the phone from the deepest part of our pool. The phone did eventually stop working and he got a 12 and a new lifeproof case, however that phone made it two months after the pool drop before giving out. One of my daughters constantly listen to music in the shower and the phone drops from the high shelve into the bathtub regularly. She has never had a phone stop working, we believe it is the case that save our very expensive investment every time! ... show more

Seems to be a legit Lifeproof. I’ve been using it a couple of weeks, and it’s doing it’s job. I do have a screen protector on too, but I’ve already dropped my phone and it was fine. It makes the phone wider than I would like, but the protection is worth it.

I have owned several Lifeproof phone cases. Each time I purchase a new iphone, I buy a new Lifeproof case. I have never had a problem with them and I have dropped my phone on the tile floor without my phone shattering. The case looks nice and is perfect for me. I recently dropped my iPhone 12 with this case on it. When I picked my phone up the case had popped open and the back fiber glass of my phone including around the camera is now shattered. I have always been an otterbox defender fan as they have always protected my phone from drops. I thought I would try something new with this phone and am sorely disappointed and will be going back to the defender. If you have kids or your phones tend to get beat up do not buy this case as it doesn’t protect your phone! ... show more

Yes the silent switch is a little off but it still works! It’s durable, covers the phone well and is exactly as described in the description. The purple color is cute! It was definitely worth the money.

I have used Lifeproof cases for many years- I think my first one was the iPhone 5. I like the cases with no screen protectors so that is a plus. The only thing I can complain about is the buttons on the side are not as pliant as the older versions. It’s actually had to squeeze them with my carpel tunnel hands- lol! ... show more
