This case did not live up to my expectations, I’ve had better luck with the waterproof of the previous generation, but for my iPhone 12 Pro Max, it is not right. Despite what LifeProof advertises, I have several magsafe chargers (one authentic, and two 3rd party) and none of them are able to magnet-lock in place with the LifeProof case on. Other than that it's a great case.

Dig and you will find that the Lifeproof Fre is the only current iPhone case that gives offers shock and waterproof protection with full and normal access to the touchscreen and a solid protective lens for the camera. Not the flimsy membrane that plaqued earlier Lifeproof Fre versions and other current manufacturers. That being said, any lens protection will affect photo quality under certain conditions. It's a tradeoff one has to balance with where you want to go. I have used this case for over a month outdoors everyday and can say I am rather pleased with its performance. Two things need improvement. One, the living hinge on the Lightning port will not last and should be a fully hinged component, period. You can reduce the cycle count by at least two orders of magnitude on this part by using a MagSafe charger. Second, the lanyard boss in the lower left hand corner will wear out or shear off before the lanyard breaks. This product needs a robust lanyard connection and at list price US$90.00 include the lanyard. ... show more

The cases screen protector doesn’t sit on the screen , so you have to press extra hard. It’s annoying. Stocard app doesn’t work because the screen protector is not sitting on the screen so your store apps can’t be read (scanned).

Had many life proof cases over the years and they have lasted a year or better. But within a week I had sand under the case, within a month it wasn’t working for Face ID. Tried cleaning the camera lens cover with alcohol lens wipes and I could never get it clean enough to take pictures. Really disappointed. This case will not work with ANY wireless charger. I have wasted time buying all the most expensive ones none of them work it’s obviously the case that is the problem because it is not the brand new iPhone or chargers. Technology these days this should not have took place.
