I had read an article in a medical journal about the benefits of essential oils on well-being and creativity. So, I bought the Lifelines pen diffuser to help with my writing and music. The pen is elegant and fits nicely in my grasp. (Not too big or bulky.) It has a simple and elegant design and is easy to use. I found the ballpoint is of great quality and writes smoothly. All of the four essential oil blends have delightful scents. I found the Focus blend the most helpful when I am writing or composing. And, the lavender and chamomile fragrance of the Calm blend is perfect when I journal at night. The essential oil blends are not overpowering, rather a delightful aroma that fills the air around me as I write or compose. It feels like I have my own "spa" space at my desk. And, it comes with a case that I can use during my travels, to ensure the oils don't leak during low pressure on a plane. I also prefer to give gifts that are both useful and unique. So, I will be purchasing these for family and friends. I highly recommend this product to anyone who needs an enjoyable sensory lift!

Saw this in a college bookstore as part of a journal set, and came here to find just the pen. Ordered the blue and purple - my daughter who loves writing promptly stole the blue one from me and I’ve been using the purple daily. There are four little chambers for the scents and one was about 1/2 gone when it arrived but no leaking in the package I could see. There was a note about putting it back in the carrying case if you take it on a plane because it could leak with the pressure changes so I left it at home for a recent trip. I was surprised it actually writes smoothly and well. It came with an ink refill which meant I had to save the case but that tells me they think the scent it will last a long time. I don’t see a way to refill the scent so that’s probably their way of letting you get your money’s worth. I love a bold pen - my favorite is Ink Joy RT7 with a soft cover Cambridge spiral notebook (feels sort of velvety but flexible). This one is just a little fatter and no taper for your hand, so the feel is close but not quite as good as the Ink Joys. Also wish it came in blue ink. Been using for a few months and fragrance not noticeably lower, although I don’t usually even bother opening one of the vents. I can’t really smell it when it’s on the table even with the vents open I can smell it with them closed and up close. I tend to press the plastic top of the pen against my lips while I am deep and thought and smell it that way. Very nice in the middle of winter in Michigan and thinking about planting flowers and warmer times. I am left handed - like many others I write in such a way that my hand goes immediately over what I just wrote. I started using the ink joy because it’s smudged less than others, but this gets on my hand even less! I call that a huge win for lefties - I’d give it 4.5 stars for the pen alone (ink could be just a tad darker and barrel just a little more tapered for holding), and 5 stars overall for the added scent. I work from home and have ADHD. I love aromatherapy but air fresheners you don’t smell after a while, diffusers, you have to refill, and I don’t want the moisture/humidify around a computer (my screens take up most of the desk). I had a wax warmer on a smart plug so I didn’t forget to shut it off but those get intense quickly and I’m still worried about the cats knocking it over (I spilled one once on carpet). Candles I’d definitely forget to blow out and, cats. This isn’t strong enough I’d think it would bother a fragrance-sensitive office mate. Good compromise between the options and pretty good pen to boot.

I love this pen, it’s such a unique product and really does have incredible, soothing scents. I will say the pen scent is strong, it still emits the scent with the vents closed so I rarely open them, and I carry it in my purse daily and it always give my bag a refreshing smell as well. I also love that it comes with a refillable ink tube and a tube to travel with so that it doesn’t break with air pressure changes. Great attention to details and much appreciated. Definitely recommend.

I recently ordered this pen for my son ( 11th grader in high school) and he absolutely loves it. Says it's super comfortable to write with, the ink is writes smooth and he really enjoys the scents. Especially the when hes taking tests, he says the aromatherapy really helps calm him when his test anxiety is high. I will be ordering another soon.

The pen is beautifully crafted in an air travel tube container. In bloom smells like a floral perfume. In spice smells like an awkward cinnamon vanilla which gradually grows on you. The crisp mountain air is one of my favorites because it truly gives off more natural earthy vibes and captures the essence of crisp air proving a sense of calm. There is an extra ink cartridge after the one that comes in the pen runs out.

I bought this after trying the Lifelines travel kit, which has a few different products including the pen. I love the design of it! Each pen actually has 4 scents that you can choose from. The scents are great, but not too powerful. for instance I would use this in a meeting with other people and not worry that it would distract anyone, I think you can really only smell it within a few inches of the pen itself. So its not like a diffuser that you plug in that is pumping the scent into the room. In my office, we aren't allowed to use oil diffusers for that reason. This is a clever work around and a way to introduce a sensory experience wherever you like. Such a unique design! I think I will buy a bunch for Christmas gifts, its a great price for a thoughtful gift!
