I purchased the 36 kg/80 lb kettlebell to use primarily for goblet squats. I own several lighter kettlebells, but this is the heaviest that I've purchased. Also the best... by light years. Seriously! I never thought I'd use the word "love" when describing a piece of training equipment, but yeah it fits for this one. It's freaking awesome--flawless fit and finish, perfectly balanced, just the right amount of grip, and aesthetically much nicer than any other kettlebell I own. Took a chance ordering a pair of 20kg bells, being a ‘kb snob’ I suppose after many years of training and being spoiled with RKC Dragon Door Bells it’s hard to settle for less than top tier quality and you know when shape/balance is off, yet when continuing to build your own home garage it is tough to continue to shell out that top tier cash. After using these bells for several training sessions this past week I’m very happy with my decision and when the time comes to yet again expand with another pair of bells I will definitely be purchasing another set of Lifelines. Bell quality and coating is great and what you would expect of an RKC style bell, I’ve only had them a week but I do not see these chipping out gouging away like those of poor quality like I’ve made the mistake of purchasing in the past in hopes to save a buck with enamel type coating. As one of the other reviewers had mentioned, the logo on the bell front is engraved/set into the bell front as opposed to raised which is honestly something I would’ve even overlooked when shopping for bells since most of my others don’t have much on the bell front besides a weight, but lord I can see how much that would hurt during cleans/snatches. Not that it’s a huge factor to take into consideration when purchasing a bell, but they did arrive a day before estimated. I was extremely impressed with the level of care that went into packaging these bells for shipment. Double boxed, corded, and styrofoam to help hold the bell in place so that it did arrive unscathed on my doorstep. Took a chance on this brand and bought a 20kg (44 lb.). Needless to say it arrived very well packaged inside a sturdy and thick box containing thick Styrofoam packaging around the kettlebell preventing damage and movement, so there was no damage whatsoever. The coating is very well done and I could immediately notice upon first glance that the quality was very, very good. The coating feels grippy without being overly bothersome to the skin. Good value to be had from this brand. Will definitely purchase a few more in due time from LifeLine. All in all I can safely rate this keetlebell 10/10. ... show more

We bought two; 8kg and 12kg. They were both well-made, professional-looking kettlebells, in professional units of kilograms. The handle is very good; Perfect shape. Smooth, just rough enough to permit a good grip. We're doing pretty extreme numbers of swings, and we've had no problems at all with skin injuries, or even calluses. (Although we might get calluses when the weights increase. It comes with the weight.) The bottom is flat. It's marked with a molded quantity and colored stripes. No problems with rust, and we live 3km/2miles from the ocean. The packaging was strong, and the items arrived with no blemishes. I don't see how they could be better! This 44KG kettlebell came very well packaged. It was cradled in a heavy duty styrofoam two piece container, in a cardboard box. It came entirely intact with no damage at all. LifeLine was one of the first manufacturers of kettlebells in America. Unfortunately, they decided to switch manufacturing to China. This is a solid and seamless, great coating and weighs true. However, it’s not the USA manufactured bell that they used to make. I have a LifeLine from 2006 still in rotation.
