I was sleeping on an old mattress that was giving me back pain. After researching many mattresses on Amazon, I decided on the Life Balance Hybrid because it was made in the USA, had no odor and was made it certified components. My back pain is gone. This is the most comfortable mattress I ever slept on. It was very easy to setup, just open the box, remove the plastic and it expanded quickly. It is definitely not a cheap mattress and you can tell not only by the way it looks but how well it is put together. I like a soft mattress, however this mattress conformed to my back. I am a side sleeper and the mattress was very comfortable, not to hard and not too soft. There are other mattresses available at a cheaper price but this mattress was worth the additional money spent.

I needed a new spare mattress as my wife and are both light sleepers so we switch off sleeping on a twin bed in a spare room. Don’t knock it as a marriage saver. Anyways, I went to the local mattress chain store and their bed in a box options felt mushy and cheap. They then tried to sell me an $1,100 twin mattress which was apparently a great sale price - yikes. This outing at least convinced me I needed a hybrid mattress (coils and memory foam). From there I decided what I could find on Amazon and the choices and reviews were all over the place. I landed on this one as the Vine reviews were all really positive, shipping was among the quickest, and I liked that it was made in US. Super happy with my choice. I unpacked in the living room and it puffed right up. The firmness continued to increase through the next day but ready to sleep on night one. Everything about this mattress screams quality and such a bargain at this price. I would say it is on the firmer side of medium which is my sweet spot. It definitely cradles you and such an improvement over what we had. I would put it side by side with the chain store mattresses that were 2-3x the price. I did not notice any chemical smells etc. It is a bit heavy so might require a buddy lift to get upstairs. One note is on delivery I did not have an option to just have mattress dropped off. I did not need set up/haul away and wish Amazon just had a check box as had to convince drivers of this through my Ring doorbell as I was not home at time. It is compressed nicely in a box so just have the option to leave on porch like normal package.

My first time purchasing a mattress on line! I never thought I would but I did! I received the King mattress and waited patiently while it came to full size almost immediately..They do supply a little tool to help open the bag with and it didn’t explode into a mattress like I’ve see videos on line! I waited 24 hours before trying it out.. it’s super comfy and you definitely cannot feel others in the bed with you! Absolutely no odors and no issues!

I bought this for my 92yo mother and she loves it. It was easy to set up and there wasn’t any odors or off-gassing to speak of. It did arrive a day later than expected so we had to postpone my mother’s move by an entire day to allow for it to expand.

This was the perfect fit for one of Lakehouse guest rooms where the niece and nephews stay and because we built them a custom bunk room, I didn't want to have to buy individual bed frames but rather yet, try a taller mattress that goes into the "nautical themed" bunk room. We got one mattress to test out the quality, support, size and weight and ensure that they weren't too soft or mushy before ordering the rest--as they won't be used terribly often they're probably the only mattresses we'll ever buy for the kiddos visiting the Lakehouse! All that to say is that I am over the moon at the quality for the price point, amazed at how much expansion can happen from something that comes out of a box, personally my husband and I find the mattress comfortable and we've only had the eldest niece stay (11) and in usual kid fashion don't have complaints just bragging rights that they were the first to claim their bunk! It also had to be a mattress that had firm enough edge support so that when they were playing or being read to that the adult doing so wouldn't fall into the side of the bed, passed that test too! It does expand to the full advertised depth after letting it rest a couple days and I wouldn't rush it, not because of the quality, but every environment is different! I read an article that stated if you have an air purifier to run that in the rom while it expands and it ensure the air encased inside the mattress is "clean" or that the "off gas" of expanding foam won't be too strong. I have THE MOST sensitive nose and there was no latex/foam, or smell that was present initially or after which is a huge win as that would mean this mattress would't have worked for us!
