    • My boy loves it!
Perfect for my 1yr and 10 month old boy. Simple two button design is more than enough to keep him entertained. One button is straight forward, the other is a 3 point turn reverse. Took just a bit of direction and demonstration for him to grasp the concept but he picked up fairly quickly. Only two of the three figures that came with the toy fit in the driver seat. The man dressed in red with the #1 on his chest is too wide. The car also has a yellow button in front that causes the headlights to light up and it make sounds when you push it. Same happens when you load a driver. Not sure how long batteries will last. Overall great toy for the price! ... show more

    • Not what you expect
My grandson is over two now and he doesn't understand it completely yet. I didn't expect him to but I wanted him to get experience with the concept of controlling something remotely as soon as possible. He grasps the basic concept that it can be controlled by his manipulation of the controller, but he is having trouble with the control because of design issues. It has two buttons, one controls forward motion and one backs it up in circle. He would like a left and right button to avoid objects. As is, he goes forward in a straight line until he hits the object, then hits the back button and it backs up in a circle so you have to stop it when its pointing in the direction you want to go forward again. Thats a difficult concept for a two or three year old. It does not perform well on plush carpet as its dragging the bottom. The figures that come with it are difficult to fit in and out and seem to get stuck. He loves cars and trucks and will play for hours on the floor with them. This did not impress him as much for more than a few of the reasons listed above. It is sturdy enough, just a poor design. Not recommended for a two or three year old and a four or five year old would not like the controller action and would be ready for a "normal" RC car. ... show more

I got this for our 2 year old granddaughter, and got one a little more advanced for the 4 year old. Both loved it—and it seemed the 4 year old liked it better than the one I got him. He was insistent he needed to take it to his house when he left. They liked the multiple little people that come with it. They carried it around by the antenna though I told them this would break it but it’s still kicking! Good purchase ... show more
