I was pretty excited to try these fans out. Lian Li makes some awesome PC components. I installed these on my Lian Li AIO watercooler for my CPU. These UNI Fan TL 120 Wireless look amazing but I am pretty sure I received a defective kit. I unfortunately can't request a replacement kit to verify if it's defective or if I received a bad kit. When these fans are above 1500RPM, they produce a loud buzz sound. I've double checked the mounting and the connections between the 3 fans to make sure they're secure, which they are. The buzzing is so loud I can hear it with my closed back headphones on. While these aren't really wireless like the name implies, I do like how they connect to your system. There is no need to wire a bunch of cables to your motherboard besides one USB2 header as everything connects to your power supply and is controlled wirelessly using the L-Connect 3 software. Based off the kit I received, I cannot recommend these due to the buzzing noise they produce above 1500RPM. If I am offered a replacement kit I will update my review accordingly. ... show more

These are a good solution if your motherboard doesn't support RGB fans or you've run out of fan headers that do. This is a 3 pack but I only had a spot to mount 2 fans side by side. It was easy to connect the fans and receiver together and the the screw holes lined up perfectly. Connection to the mobo is only 2 pin on a 4 pin plug so don't expect to control these from it even if it has support. I plugged in the controller to a USB port as I didn't have open headers to use the motherboard connection option. The controller seems really big for what it does and they don't provide a USB extension cable which is completely lame. I had no issues with L Connect software though I know there a have been a lot of complaints about the software over the years. Fan noise is as expected throughout the speed range. The TL lights look perfect and the software includes a lot of effects. So overall it was an easy install with no issues encountered. My two major complaints are they don't include a short USB extension cable to help accommodate the giant controller and I can't seem to find a way to buy another receiver to hook up the extra fan I'm left with. ... show more
