Description

This Lian Li fan bundle includes 3 reverse blade 120mm TL daisy-chainable fans with a controller and 1 standard 120mm TL daisy-chainable fan without a controller. The reverse blade fans feature a 34 dB(A) noise level, 83.4 CFM max airflow, 2.66 mmH2O max air pressure, and 26 LEDs. The standard fan has a 33 dB(A) noise level, 90.1 CFM max airflow, 3.97 mmH2O max air pressure, and 26 LEDs. Both fan models are crafted from PA66 and LCP plastic and use a fluid dynamic bearing. These Lian Li fans can be daisy-chained together for flexible installation. The included controller enables lighting customization and speed control from 0 to 2300 RPM for the reverse blade fans and 0 to 2600 RPM for the standard fan. With their slide-in mechanism and dual-ended cables, these fans are easy to set up even for beginners. Combining both reverse blade and standard fans creates efficient, focused airflow to effectively cool your system. The media could not be loaded. 5/5 Full Review — IMPORTANT CONNECTIVITY NOTE at bottom RGB — Mostly perfect (a little light hued for some oranges, like yellower than id expect but true orange is still possible. and purpley for a tad of what id expect to be pink) NOISE — Quiet af COOLING — no issues, great intakes! (These reverse models are intended to pull air in, keep in mind) SOFTWARE — meh, but works exactly as intended. not sure if you can control individual fans but the groups work well individually or merged. You can even rotate the LCDs if you install them upside down like I did 😂 (LCD model only) SETUP — surprisingly complex but CLEAN once you get it all together and understand what does what. WIRING — the controller included is clutch, wires good length appropriately. Very well meshed wire covers, very workable as far as cable mgmt is concerned. CONNECTIONS — IMPORTANT: you need an available 6+2 pin PCI-E slot on your PSU, which connects to the controller for power. You also must directly connect the controller to a USB 2.0 header on your motherboard, being recommended to not use a splitter. I had to grab an NZXT 1 to 4 usb header hub to make it work with my build as I only had 2 usb2 headers (attached my AIO and case lighting to the hub) This only uses ONE PWM fan cable, which is super clutch. It also has a connection for ARGB 5V (3pin rgb) which allows the mobo to sync it if you prefer — also may or may not allow another app to control its lights specifically, but not LCDs afaik (LCD model only, these arent the LCD ones but I use both. The controller and cords are pretty well made and comes with a great mounting tape slab thing. LCDs — This is not the LCD model, but if you get them as well or only: Amazing, helpful, sharp. I purchased an open box unit, and was initially unable to get the software to work in order to upload a custom image/video/GIF to the screens. I determined that this was due to a fault in a single one of the fans (the one I had plugged into the cable), as the other two fan screens worked fine once that fan was removed. I contacted customer service about this issue along with pictures of the non-functional fan, and they immediately sent me a single replacement fan that arrived within 2 days, and did not even make me go through the trouble of returning the single defective fan. I have had zero issue in the past few months since. Only needing a single wire for power, fan control, addressable RGB LED control, and LCD video data for 3 separate fans make this so easy to install, since this would require a minimum of 12 wires if I had used another brand. I used these to replace the fans on a 360mm AiO radiator, and they are efficient enough that I never have to ramp them up to full speed to maintain adequate temps. With only a single wire it took just a few minutes to install, and I only had to manage/hide one cable, so the setup is very clean. The L-connect software used to control the fans/LEDs/LCDs is a bit cheap looking, and does some weird things sometimes (I.e., last time I opened the program, it wouldn't allow me to upload new .mp4 files, but if I converted the file to a .GIF, it would work fine), but once you have things set up there is no need to touch it (unless you want to change anything.) The fans each have an EEPROM for the LCD screen, so when powered on they automatically display whatever they were set to the last time before being powered off. You don't have to constantly run the fan software or open it every time you start your PC to get the screens to display whatever you want. Mentioning this since I did not see anything stating this explicitly before I bought it, and was concerned it wouldn't retain the settings.     • LCD fans are nightmare

Ever since installing these, it's been on giant headache. First my motherboard usbs would all crash about an hour after booting into windows. On top of that, some of the fans would just not start or run at all. I would try every suggestion I could find. Changing order of the fans, changing usb headers, uninstalling Lconnect, power cycling without the pcie. Nothing worked. Finally gave up and am returning all of them. Yes, they do look fantastic, but I've had to troubleshoot them constantly since installing. Not worth it. ... show more

Pros -ease of use with hub -software is kinda easy to setup and use without going into specifics -connections are solid -RGB is great -sound and cooling is top notch as always from lian li -fans now have a screw cover for a nice clean look Cons -wires arent very long so could affect case setup -new HUB requires a PCI-E connector so it could require more power or a better PSU -software needs constant updating to maintain quality -had to buy seperate 140mm fans and HUB which costed way too much other than what I listed here as you can see from my pictures one of the boxes may have been resold to me damaged. It was still sealed but some of the accessories were outside their traditional plastic and bubble wrap. I do still encourage people to only get Lian li if you want simplistic and great quality products, just be ready to pay alot for it ... show more
