  • Beautiful wireless fans with seamless setup
Style: 120 Reverse Triple White
Fans look super cool/operate super cool with a seamless wireless setup. L-connect app works great with lian li products. However if you’re wanting to use motherboard sync with other non lian li rgb products, the wireless fans will not sync. Get the wired fans for MB sync or SignalRGB

  • Looks amazing, Loud.
Style: 120 Reverse Triple Black
Looks simply incredible, highly recommend just because of how amazing it looks and how customizable they are. However, if your computer making a lot of noise is an issue, I would recommend the Lian Li TL models instead. These fans can get quite loud.

  • A crazy lightshow for a 120mm fan.
Style: 120 Triple Black
Anyone who's been a PC enthusiast in the past 20+ years knows the name Lian Li; after all, the most popular case in the world is their O11 Dynamic. Their fans can be seen on display in the majority of rate my build posts across the internet. So, lets take a look and see if the latest fans from Lian Li can live up to their reputation, shall we? Let's start by addressing the elephant in the room: These aren't wireless. They have less wires for a much cleaner installation, but presently power delivery still will require cables. That said, the fans snap together and pass the signal through, and the controller just plugs directly into a USB power or usb header on your motherboard, giving a clean look with a very limited amount of cabling added. The fan power connects via standard 4pin fan header, but it does come with a sata to fan power connector, which I'd advise using so you don't trigger over voltage protection on your motherboard due to the sheer amount of lights found in these fans. As for the fans themselves, they move a solid amount of air with good static pressure. These make for a nice option for water cooling radiators for that reason. They are quiet unless you crank up the speed, much like any good pc fan will be. I have zero complaints in this regard, much like any other fan from Lian Li. As for the lighting, which lets be honest, is the entire reason someone would buy these, they deliver. There's a whopping 58 leds split across three lighting zones, along with infinity mirrors on the sides of the fans. Due to the amount of lights per inch, they're quite fluid as the lightings change and transition from one to the next. My only qualm here is that you are limited to using L-Connect to control these, which is the issue with the entire wireless lineup from Lian Li. There was originally supposed to be a partnership with SignalRGB, but that fell through. There is a beta l-connect with integration with openrgb, but even opening it triggers a memory error on my system, which is a known issue for some people with OpenRGB trying to read the SMBus if corsair i-cue is installed so I was unable to test that setup and had to stick to the standard L-Connect. When using the wireless fans, you cannot enable motherboard passthrough and have your motherboard control the fans, since the controller doesn't connect to an RGB port on your motherboard. That said, the options found in l-connect do look great across these fans, I just wish I could synchronize them with my non-lian li keyboard, mouse, monitor, and AIO. So, I guess that brings us to the question: Do I recommend these fans? In this case, that greatly depends on your setup. If you are going all Lian Li, then yes, because you can have L-Connect control everything. If you don't have anything in your build that interferes with OpenRGB then that may be a feasible option as well, but I was unable to test it to confirm. If you're running a more elaborate lighting array with multiple vendors and you need drivers installed that trigger errors in OpenRGB, however, then unfortunately these aren't the fans for you and you should instead look at the wired version that can be used with an external controller for something like signalrgb. ... show more

  • Excellent fans from a cooling and look perspective. Not really "wireless".
Style: 120 Triple Black
This review is for the "Lian Li UNI Fan SL-Infinity Wireless 120 - Triple Pack - 2.4 GHz Wireless Signal ARGB Fan Control - Double Infinity Mirror Design - Low Noise - Controller Included - Black (12SLIN1W3B)" that I ordered via the Vine program to use in my system with the Lian Li Hydroshift II 360 TL AIO CPU cooler. These fans are part of Lian Li’s “wireless” ecosystem. While they offer excellent performance and clean aesthetics, the “wireless” label is a bit misleading. They still require both a power and USB connection to the motherboard, and control is managed via a wireless module. Since they’re already connected via USB, the “wireless” aspect feels more like a coordination tool than true wireless functionality. That said, if you’re using other Lian Li gear, the unified control is a nice plus. Marketing quirks aside, these are great fans. They move a good amount of air, stay relatively quiet, and offer plenty of RGB customization. You can control them using Lian Li’s L-Connect software or third-party options like SignalRGB. Both give you detailed control over lighting effects and fan behavior. One of my favorite features is how the fans physically snap together and only require a single pair of cables for all three—huge bonus for reducing cable clutter and simplifying installation. If you’re installing them as a single unit, setup is quick and easy. If you’re placing them individually, it takes a bit more effort, but nothing too complicated. One thing to keep in mind: you’ll need enough internal USB headers to support the fans, the wireless controller, and any other USB-connected devices. In my case, I had to add an internal USB hub to make everything work. At around $30 per fan, they’re not the cheapest option—but for the features, clean wiring, and seamless integration with Lian Li’s ecosystem, I think they’re worth the price. If you’re aiming for a high-end look with flexible customization, these are an excellent choice. Just make sure you’re prepared for the extra USB header demand that comes with all these so-called “wireless” components. ... show more
