Features

  • Airflow focused: Designed for maximum airflow and suitable for both air and liquid cooling. The front and top panels feature fine mesh that permits ample air to flow into and out of the case. Furthermore, the front dual 160mm fans are designed for maximum airflow with little noise. They can produce an astounding 118.85CFM of airflow with a static pressure of 3.10mmH2O.
  • Highly adjustable: There are plenty of ways to adjust the chassis to your needs. You can set up your motherboard configuration to Air-Cooling Mode or Water-Cooling Mode, providing flexibility for your PCs thermal needs.
  • Great hardware compatibility: LANCOOL 216 supports up to 360mm radiator on top and bottom, ATX motherboard, GPU up to 392mm in length, and up to ten 120mm fans.
  • Cable management friendly: Behind the motherboard tray are three Velcro straps situated next to the rubber pass-through grommets. This is perfect for bundling up multiple cables into a single run. In addition, a further two Velcro straps reside above the PSU chamber, ideal for holding excess cables away from the power supply ventilation.
  • Beginner friendly: On top of its hardware compatibility, LANCOOL 216's removeable top radiator bracket, relocatable front IO/O module, and rotatable PCIe expansion slot panel make it extremely easy to build in and customize.

  • ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Airflow and Clean Design
Style: 216 (Non RGB)
I bought the Lian Li Lancool 216 (non-RGB version) for a new gaming PC build, and I’m extremely happy with it. The minimalist look is perfect if you prefer a clean setup without flashy lighting. The two large 160mm front fans and the 140mm rear fan provide outstanding airflow while staying surprisingly quiet. Building inside the case was very easy thanks to the spacious interior and excellent cable management options. There’s plenty of room for large GPUs and CPU coolers, and the removable panels make installation hassle-free. The build quality feels premium, and the airflow keeps my components running cool even during long gaming sessions. If you want a high-quality case focused on performance rather than RGB effects, the Lancool 216 is an excellent choice and offers fantastic value for the price. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • Excellent PC case with Great Airflow
Style: 216 (Non RGB)
I brought this case as a replacement for a Corsair 200R case that I had built my first PC in. This is a well thought out case, easy to build in, stock fans are very quiet at idle, and for my air focused build, on par with the same build in a Fractal Torrent XL as far as thermals go (actually better by a few degrees). Gamers Nexus is 100% spot on as far as thermals go. The good: Easy to build in. Descent cable management. Front, sides, window are all easy to open/access and secure with thumb screws (except front which is snap fit). Included PWM 160mm front fans are quiet and move air well thru the case, same with the rear 140 PWM. Fans don't feel cheap. Completely stock config this case is worthy. No real need to add any additional fans, unless you want to add a lower fan (front position) for your GPU or try other configs. I went with the default fan config as it's just working, well, really well. 32deg c at idle. Case looks nicer then I expected. It's a dark case, no power LED. It has a reset switch which is nice. Combo headphone/mic jack feels solid, no issues with either headphones or headset functionality or insert (unlike the Torrent). Window looks good and feels solid, although I generally avoid presentation cases in general, so this is a big departure for me. I like the look. The case has no other LEDs to tell if it's on (it's that quiet). Looks nice as a presentation case. The Meh: The MB "air cooling mode" config standoffs leave an awkward GPU placement. Recommend using the standard position. Again Gamers Nexus spot on on this. The PSU shroud has removable plates to add fans, install SSDs, etc. The screw holes are small, so removing them is required to add fans, and they must be installed on top, not below the shroud. I am sure one could add some long screws and bolts, but the kit does not include hardware to do this, at least with standard size fan screw patterns. Lian Li fans may get you around this, but I am a dedicated Noctua guy. No biggie. I may look more into a below shroud fan position mod and update the review. The anti-sag bracket uses MB standoffs to support the bracket fyi. Note that the standard 216 case does NOT have a fan hub, but is the same price, yet has PWM front 160mm fans instead of the ARGB fans on the RGB version. Note that the rear GPU 120mm fan cage is kinda weird, sticks out, and feels like an afterthought. Best guess is it is included for folks who do not like the PSU shroud top mounted fan look. Who knows. Overall I like the case. The thermals are excellent with my build, better or on par with the Torrent XL at a much smaller footprint, price, and noticeably quieter/near silent at idle. Was a breeze to build in, plenty of space to navigate. Good manual available online and included screw accessory box is a nice perk. Looks great and feels premium. Unsure about fan compatibility if the front 160mm fans need replacement, as Lian Li is kinda known for proprietary fans, but once you go over 140mm, this is an issue with most manufacturers. Would build in a 216 again for sure. Footprint, thermals, looks, and ease of install is spot on. Hats off to Lian Li for this model. ... show more

  • Great Mid-Range Case at a Great Price
Style: 216 (Non RGB)
I have built many systems over the years but at the moment the Lancool 216 is my go to choice. Solid construction, wonderful air flow, roomy that allows some customization; Paired this with an ATX size Gigabyte Aorus Elite AX and a Ryzen 7600X cpu with a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black heatsink. Well worth the money. ... show more

  • Great case but some stripped screws were an issue.
Style: 216 (Non RGB)
The case is great. Well designed, roomy and good cable management, while still maintaining fairly compact dimensions. The removable top is a big plus for installing a radiator. The fans are quiet and there are no rattles. I would have given it 5 stars but a few of the PCI expansion slot screws were overtightened at the factory and ended up being stripped. It took quite a bit of work to get them out. I would have returned it for a replacement but, by the time I discovered it, I had too much time invested in the build. ... show more

  • Well built and makes install very easy
Style: 216 (Non RGB)
This case is large, weighs about 25 lbs. It’s extremely well made and the panels come off easily and quickly. I haven’t seen another case accommodate all the various components without making contact with each other. I have a liquid cooler that was a little more than 3 inches thick and it barely makes contact on the ddr4 memory on my msi B660m motherboard. My install went very smooth largely in part to the quality of this case. The fans supplied are large and cools my machine excellent - running an overclocked i5 12400f cpu ... show more

  • Needed accessory for a Nvidia 4070-Ti gpu.
Style: 216 (Non RGB)
The Nvidia 4070-Ti is a huge beast of a card...13.5 inches long. So I needed a new pc case to fit the card. For a mid-tower steel case it comes with ample room but along with the size comes the weight of the steel. I could have done a bit more shopping for a better case to meet my needs....I will miss the dvd bluray player, and my need to get an external dvd player in the future. ... show more

  • Great case for the money
Style: 216 (Non RGB)
One of the few cases i've built in that was very easy to cable manage. Bought this because of the dedicated GPU fan location. I had noticed my aging 7900xt was getting too hot in the old case so I bought this to give it a try and the temps have dropped by at least 10 degrees with the noctua fans i'm using. The pre installed front and rear fans a very quiet and move a decent amount of air around. The case is very sturdy when moving around and looks great if your not a fan of those fish tank cases. The included screw case was a nice touch. I'll consider Lian Li for my next project. ... show more
