Easy to build with, fully-featured & adaptable
Style: 216 Black RGB
Built in this case a day ago and was very impressed with it's features/preinstalled cables. The instruction manual was sufficient for helping me with setup and I didn't need to look anything up related to the case outside of the manual. The preinstalled case fans and front I/O, USBs, audio, etc. already had cable management in place, and the power connections for these devices were already routed through a power hub board that sits behind the motherboard. That made powering all of the fans super simple, and provides easy access for third-party fan installs. I am using an air cooler, but I installed my motherboard in the "water cooling mode". Frankly I don't understand what the benefit of using air cooling mode is, and I haven't had any issues so far. The water cooling mode position actually gives more space above the mobo that could be used for more fans, so... I'd just use that position. The case was more than big enough for my build. I installed an ATX mobo, Phantom Spirit 120 SE air cooler, RTX 3080 GPU with support bracket (bracket came with case, very nice!), and an MSI A850GL PSU. There are racks in the case basement for several SSDs/hard drives, as well as install positions for drives behind the mobo. And great cable management loops and clips to boot! One thing to note about picking up/moving the case. The case itself is fairly heavy, let alone when it is full of gear. Be careful lifting from the bottom of the case (under the PSU position), because there is a dust filter there that easily slides out and you could accidentally drop the thing. Just two small gripes. One, the side panels of the case are held on mostly by push-pull pins (there is also 1 screw on the glass panel). These pins are gripped by plastic inserts that fit into machined holes in the case chassis. When the case arrived, a bump during shipping had broken one of the plastic inserts, rendering an entire pin useless for keeping the side panel on the case. Luckily there are enough pins that this was fine, but even better was the fact that the case came with a great little box full of accessory hardware and spare parts. I was able to replace the plastic insert no problem. Felt good! Two, the front panel USB ports and audio port were not working for me after install, though the power buttons were. I was eventually able to get the USB ports working by messing around in my motherboard's BIOS, but I still haven't fixed the audio port. It is entirely possible that the audio port not working is a result of me using Linux for the first time and not knowing what I'm doing (^▽^;) All in all I enjoyed working with this case and I was impressed by the value of the included accessories and options.

Solid Case with Great Features and Cooling

I went with this case for my latest build, and it’s been a really solid choice. It has a sleek look, but more importantly, it’s functional and easy to work with. It feels durable and well-made, which is what I was looking for. There’s plenty of room inside, and it easily accommodates larger components without feeling cramped. Cable management was surprisingly smooth, and the built-in routing channels kept everything organized with minimal effort. Airflow has been great too, thanks to the included fans. What I appreciated most was how user-friendly it is. The case design makes installation straightforward, and everything fit together nicely. The removable panels and tool-free features were a big help during setup. Overall, if you’re after a roomy, well-designed case with good cooling and easy assembly, this is a great option. It checked all the boxes for me.

Bought it for the cooling - quite pleased

The air throughput is absolutely superb. And that's coming from a guy running 3090 FE and a 13900KF (if you know, you know). Basically a well functioning space heater rofl. The removable glass panel is great for accessing internals quickly, and cable management absolutely sublime. Perfect negative pressure system I've ever used, though certainly could do positive. Those front fans are crazy good. Caveats: - I wish it was about an inch taller (from the base of power area) though so I could fit an extra gfx card on the bottom for more monitors. - The SSD access isn't bad considering the airflow design, but wish it was a bit easier - as a guy who constantly works and switches drives. - power management panel on bottom is a bit funky, but you get used to it and it grows on you. - bit tight for the LGA1700+ chipset mobo's (gaming type boards have large heat sinks everywhere). Pros: - best cable management I've ever seen in a sub $300 case. - best airflow period. feeding off previous: direct air pathways across board and heat sinks. HIGH volume. Unless you are building your own water cooling system (mobo, gfx, and cpu), and assuming you aren't using Peltier with liquid nitrogen, this is the best you're gonna get in my opinion. - Tons of room considering it's not a "full tower". Shoutout to GamersNexus for doing thorough reviews on all the latest and greatest computer cases, and I mean THOROUGH, which led me to this product. :)

Top tier quality and features for entry level pricing.
-1 Month Stress Test Update- Okay, so this case is so good, I had to come back and update my already glowing review with a screenshot of my results after a month of use. The build quality, durability, features are all still rock solid after having reworked this system 4 times already, playing with different hardware configurations. The real reason I came back, however, is because of the cooling; and holy wow does this thing do the job. I added an image of my Icue dashboard status during 3 rounds of Timespy, which produces the hottest conditions I have found for this case so far. System: AMD Ryzen 5800 x3d Nvidia 3060 ti (3x fan unit) MSI MPG X570S Gaming Edge Motherboard Corsair HX1000i PSU 3x NVME 2x SSD 1 HDD These are notoriously hot CPU and Motherboard chipsets, and although the CPU (75c) does reach a higher temp than the GPU (63/68c), the CPU heat gets exhausted much faster than GPU heat. For CPU benchmark loads and you can basically deduct 3-5c from the attached screenshot for everything except the chipset (which maxes at 54-56c no matter what I throw at it). The hottest I could muster for gaming is Cyberpunk 2077: CPU: 70c GPU: 60c Everything else: 40c'ish I'm just sayin, if you already like the looks of this case, it is going to one of the best hundred dollar bills you've ever spent. -Original Review- I've been building and modding computers for 25 years, and this case is one of, if not the best I have bought in that time. The quality and engineering are astounding, and the materials and build are solid; and the attention to detail through a builder's eye is evident. Despite the amount of mesh and glass, the case is built like, and feels like a tank. The mesh and glass are thick, and all but the smallest mesh panel are reinforced with rigid steel gussets. The front bezel is the only plastic here, and it is dense and heavy like the dash of a 2014 Volvo. Even the HDD drive cages are sturdy enough to use for home defense, and they are polished to a brilliant oil rubbed shine! Seriously, I cannot stress enough how much of a tank this case is... even the rear I/O plates have weight. The case is highly configurable, with the ability to mount the motherboard in an upper or lower position to obtain clearance for watercooling radiators or air cooling fans depending on your needs. The disclaimer in the manual states that "you cannot do this or you cannot do that" when mounting in either upper or lower spots; but after dry fitting a number of motherboard and cooling combos in the case, I found you can get away with a lot if you plan ahead for access to connectors and whatnot. Cons: -Heavy (See: Sturdy) -Big for a mid tower(Not for subtle systems or HTPC) -Steel side panel (wire side) attaches with snaps, no screws. It feels secure, but I like screws. Thoughts: -I'm 99.99% Certain that any GPU will fit in this case. Mine is a smaller 3-fan unit, but the clearance goes on for days. -You could probably fit up to 4 of various water-cooling radiators/reservoirs in there, if you threw money at it hard enough. Overall, I rate this 10/10, five star quality; and I'm soon to buy another for a friend's build.

Solid Build, Minor I/O Headache

I bought the Lian Li LANCOOL 216 and overall I’m impressed. The chassis feels sturdy and clearly well engineered - the modular layout makes building straightforward, and it supports a wide range of motherboard sizes and large GPUs without fuss. Cable management is thoughtful: plenty of routing channels and included cable ties and Velcro keep things tidy, and the multiple SSD and HDD mounting options are a real plus. The removable top panel is a small feature that turned out to be genius for access until you install an AIO radiator and fans. One issue I encountered is the 3.5mm audio jack on the I/O panel arrived defective. I reached out to the company; they had me run through troubleshooting steps I had already tried, and after a few emails they shipped a replacement I/O panel. Customer service was professional and resolved the issue, but responses typically took more than a day. That said, there are a few tradeoffs. The front plastic has a cheap feel compared with the rest of the metal construction. The relocatable I/O panel feels more like a gimmick in practice because there isn’t enough room to route the I/O cables safely between the panel and the fan beside it unless you sharply bend them or install smaller fans, which isn’t ideal. I also wish the rear fan was ARGB, though I appreciate that all the included fans are PWM for speed control. Pros -Sturdy, well-built chassis - Modular design makes assembly easy - Supports many motherboard sizes and large GPUs - Excellent cable routing and included ties - Multiple SSD and HDD mounts - Removable top panel for easy access - Fans are removable and replaceable using standard 4‑pin connectors - Included fan hub supports up to 6 PWM fans Cons - Front plastic feels cheap compared to metal parts - Relocatable I/O panel is more gimmick than practical; tight cable bend space - Included fan hub only supports up to 4 RGB fan connections - Rear fan not ARGB - 3.5mm audio jack on I/O panel can be defective; required replacement in my case - Customer service was professional but response times were usually more than a day Verdict If you want a practical, well-built midtower that makes building and cable management painless, the LANCOOL 216 is a solid choice. I’d give it 4.5 stars - great value and functionality, with a couple of small design annoyances and the occasional I/O hiccup to be aware of.

Big Air

Put an intel 250KF and Radeon 9070 in it and it is almost silent when running games. This is a full size tower and I needed the room for the long graphics card and tall cpu cooler. As advertised the airflow is wide open with the giant front fans. It does have some nice quality of life features with the glass side removable with a single retained screw and the back cable management is just about perfect. Got the RGB version and there is a fan/RGB bus at the top on the back so those cables don't go everywhere else through the case. Power supply has a removable fan screen on the bottom for keeping out the dust and overall it is a solid build. Only thing I might change is the power button is flat and black and blends in; but that's a pretty small complaint. Definitely would recommend!

My PC internals feel like a windy valley!

This case may look a little plain, but it's definitely function over form! I love how my PC idles around 40c, but of course that's also achieved with the help of other parts. The case has ventilation on all sides but one, two MASSIVE fans on the front, and a smaller one in the back. It's really spacious too, plenty of room to upgrade parts and allow proper air flow. One of my most favorite parts about it though is that the power button and front I/O aren't way up on the top like most modern cases. This one has them running diagonally along the upper edge of the case, making it easy to access for PCs that are placed in tight spaces. Overall, the case is sturdy and build well, with excellent filtration for dust. My bedroom also has the dryer in it, so I KNOW dust well. There's barely anything in my case that I can see from the window as I write this review. Oh, and that price!? Amazing. It looks to me like this one is a solid five stars.
