    • Good Potting Mix for Potted Plants
This soil is very heavy and sandy with lots of wood chips. It was not very good for vegetable seedlings. I planted two trays with dandelion and arugula seeds for my hydroponic tower and out of 44 cells only 2 seedlings come up, though on my flower seedlings almost all come up, so flower seeds do like it. I think the soil is just too heavy and would work better for potted plants. It has already been a month and I'm going to dump these and use in a potted plant instead. I would recommend for potted plants but not for germinating seedlings since it was hit and miss for me. Thank you! ... show more

It took me awhile to get around to trying this and now I'm annoyed I waited. My peace lily seems to be responding very well to this mixture. I would agree that it is quick to drain and was easy to work with. Not too much else I can say other than I'm pleased.

I've moved my little tree in a bigger pot and it looks as good as always, planning to plant some avocadoes and oregano seeds, hopefully they'll like the soil.

This potting soil mix was a great alternative for both my indoor and outdoor plants! I used to buy that most famous Miracle-Gro. This all-purpose potting mix seems rich, well-balanced, and provides the perfect environment for plants to thrive. If my plants are doing well then it is healthy for them. Roots seems to be healthier and growth is fair too. I am using the soil for my houseplants. The fact that it's organic and natural makes me feel good about what I’m putting into my plants.
