    • Phone is garbage
After receiving the phone And having it connected to TMobile I have had nothing but problems with it. The phone will not pick up a signal nor will it allow me to make simple calls or texts. I had tried numerous methods to resolve the issues from different device, network, restarts, reboots, resets. I had been in TMobile 4 out of 7 times thru the week and have had 3 different sim cards changed and they have done everything on their end to sit and help me and resolve the problem but after so many attempts they are able to see there is no problems on their end. The phone simply works when it wants to. I have contacted the seller with no response I don't have the return packaging slip and have tried to contact the seller in regards to returning the phone without that slip because it states I have 30 day to return. And no response. Now this stupid phone has just turned off and I have a black screen that will not turn on the phone. I have once again tried all methods possible to turn the screen on and get the device powered up with no luck. From my understand there is an electrical problem with in the phone . So etching I can't fix myself and now imstuck with a phone that won't charge or power on is not receptive to any methods. I have not dropped the phone one time as when I bought the phone I purchased a case and screen protector that arrived before the phone did. The phone states its refurbished so clearly whatever prior problems were originally a defect to this phone had not been fixed before selling and now I'm out $300 because I can't get any feedback from this seller. Do not buy a phone thru this seller!! They also change the name on Amazon for the seller. It went from seller name of Electro Wireless To the name Digital Age on my order.     • Rock solid mid-range phone.
The LG Velvet is a pretty good mid-range phone. For some reason, the auto correct got messed up and I'll be re-setting to factory defaults soo. Other than this minor little inconvenience, the phone turned out to be a decent one. One of the better mid-range phones I've gotten.

If the fingerprint reader was on the back like the LG V40 and worked just as good, this would be the best phone ever. I'll add my thumbs two more times to see if that helps. I like the dual speakers. Audio is more tweeter like but still ok. Good processor speed!

    • Great phone if you like to constantly charge it
Love the phone, but it loses about 20% of the battery life in 30 minutes of use. Very frustrating to have to constantly charge, it would have hoped they would replace the battery as part of their standard refurbish. Disappointing.

I originally ordered an LG Velvet 5g to connect to my Nreal Air. The phone text, surf the internet and made calls through third party apps like Whatsapp and Facebook Messenger. However, it didn't work so well as a phone. I tried contacting Amazon help desk, they were unable to assist me. Then I emailed the suppliers customer service, and they never responded. Eventually I was able to book a return, and get a refund through Amazon customer support. ... show more
