  • I love these phone cases
I had this brand on my Stylo 3 and loved it so much that I got 1 for my mom. They have amazing customer service and replaced a case twice on my Stylo 3. So when I bought my LG Stylo 4 plus I searched for the same brand phone cover that I had on my Stylo 3. I purchased 2 of these cases. The blue for me and Black for my husband. I'm so glad that I purchased this case for my new phone. The same day I got my phone I accidentally dropped it from about 4 feet. It hit and bounced 2 time's before landing face down. I was sure it was damaged but to my relief both the phone and case we're completely fine. The case fits snug and won't come apart no matter what. You have to work to get your phone out. The touch screen and all side buttons fit and work perfectly. The cover has built in buttons over the phone's. My husband and I shaved down the button that's over the power button because it sticks out further than I like and gets pushed WAY to easily. This hasn't caused any problems turning on or off the phone's power. The screen cover protects the screen from scratches and scuff's. My husband has very rough finger tips and hard nails which is extra hard on screen protectors and his cover has worn, scuff spots where the keypad pops up on the screen but it has protected the phone's screen perfectly. I highly recommend buying this cover and will continue buying them as long as they are this good. This review is of my own opinion. I am not paid or given anything in exchange for my review. Hope it helps! ... show more

  • Durable and Nice.
It makes your phone look huge. But it has a pretty nice design how it's made with a clear back and basically a built in screen protector as well. The flaps around the ear phones Jack and the power input is a good extra look like it would help if you ever dropped your phone in water, and help from dirt and dust getting into the ports. I like it I would use it during the winter when you are most likely to get your phone wet in some small or major way. Again it beefs the phone up very big but as a protection case I guess its okay. Now I've noticed that the power button cover is kind of janky. It maybe a small defect where the placement is wrong but i only had the case for a few hours I will see how that works out. Overall its a great product. ... show more

  • Screen protector didn't sit flush, making the case unusable.
This is a review of: LG Stylo 4 Rugged Case, LG Stylo 4 Plus Rugged Case, Poetic Guardian [Revised Version][Scratch Resistant Back] [Built-in-Screen Protector] Full-Body Rugged Clear Bumper Case (2018) I'm so disappointed. Poetic makes my all time favorite case (https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R36JTHN181O111/ref=cm_cr_dp_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B01LZPLWYD) and I was hoping that I'd be using their products again. Unfortunately, the middle third of the built in screen protector does not sit flush to the screen. Every tap requires greater pressure than normal - and since we're all used to barely tapping our screens, it means I end up double or triple tapping. When swiping it would lift my finger off dropping anything I was moving and making playing games all but impossible. Since the phone sits in the front portion of the case, you can't use it without the screen protector. I would have loved to have given them another 5 star rating, but this case is simply unusable. ... show more

  • So far, so good
Bought this for my LG Stylo 4. Have been using it for about a month now & so far I like it a lot. Case fits perfectly, cut outs are perfect, built in screen protector works good so far. I have dropped my phone a couple of times & no damage to my phone or the case. The only thing I didn't care for too much are the flaps that you have to open to plug in the headphones & the charger. Because it is thick plastic, they are kind of hard to open & they don't stay open, so they close back up right away on their own. When the charger or headphones are plugged into the phone, the flap seems push too much (I think) on the charger & headphone jack. So I just cut the flaps off with a razor blade & it's all good! ... show more

  • So far, so good
This case completely covers the LG Stylo 4 smartphone, front and back, save for the essential ports, lenses, etc. I found it relatively easy to assemble the case around the phone. After using it for over a month, it's not broken, it's remained attractive (imho), it's remained functional, and most importantly, its protected my phone from at least 3-4 drops from my hand to the floor. Admittedly, the drops have all been indoors, and none have been on hard tile, or concrete. The thicker, rubberized corners of the case appear to have protected the phone admirably during these drops. The tempered, ultrathin glass screen has not cracked or broken, though it has accumulated a couple noticeable scratches. This is inevitable though, as I typically keep the phone in a hip bag alongside my keys, or in a larger backpack/rucksack pocket, where it jangles around with keys, pens, etc. I figure it's an inexpensive case, and I can always replace it if I really need it, if not simply the glass component of the case. Also, when editing text through the case, I've been able to use my fingers (at least my pinky finger) to place the cursor at the left margin, at the furthest edge of the screen. I'm guessing it would be easier with other fingers, and not require any pressure, if there weren't this glass cover, or if the cover was firmly affixed to the phone's glass. But it works well enough for me. And using my phone without a screen cover and case is out of the question. Finally, in regard to the screen cover, when the screen is dark, I can notice something that reminds me of an oil slick or oily puddle near the upper center of the screen. There's no oil or liquid, of course. I'm guessing this just appears due to some slight space or air between the screen and screen cover. Unlike some Stylo 4 case reviewers, I've not had any trouble removing the stylus while using this case. (To get the stylus out, I begin by using my fingernail. I keep my nails very short, but they reach the end of my fingers. A person might have problems with this if one has, um, fleshy fingertips.) I'm also able to use the other ports, though the rubber covers protecting the ports are a challenge to bend back out of the way, at least until a port is used a good deal. I also like holding the phone in this case. I don't notice any extra weight, and it feels secure in my hands, and actually, in my pockets too. (I'm thinking mostly of my jacket pockets, but it's true of my pants pockets too, as it's less likely to completely slide out of any pocket with the case.) Before I had any case, the phone never felt secure in my hands, or even in my pockets, as it is so thin, and slick, or smooth. So, after a couple months of daily use, I recommend the affordable Poetic case for the LB Stylo 4. I'll amend this review if need be. (But unlike some reviewers, I won't complain if the case ever breaks during a drop, so long as the phone remains safe. I'm a long-time bicyclist, and I know bicycle helmets are designed to crack or break, if need be, in absorbing impact and shock while protecting the cyclist's head.)* * (Please pardon the off-topic digression, but speaking of bike helmets, please don't let your kids wear helmets decorated with horns, etc. A helmet should be smooth and round on the outside so it doesn't stick, even for a second, when colliding and sliding against asphalt, concrete, curbs, etc. For more info, research how necks were broken after Bell sold helmets without the hard outer shell, back in the 1980s or 90s.) ... show more
