  • high featured phone, well built, great value
I have owned 3 of these phones, If I break one , I just buy a new on for less then 90 bucks, I wish it ran android 10 , I know its capable of it, they just never released it for this phone. the other draw back is the battery life, but since it has an easy to swap out battery I am really dont mind too much. great phone great price I plan on continuing to replace this phone with the same model for a while ... show more

  • Good Phone a few issues
Really Nice Phone Battery easily lasts all day for me. Pictures are great and with many settings when taking pics but the lense cover fell off and I had to tape it to stay. For me there was lots of storage. Fast start up. There was an issue with the screen where it had ghosted images when accessing new screens and the connectivity with Metropcs service where I would miss text and calls I'm not sure if it was a Verizon branded phone it was unlocked as advertised. The seller was great to work with on the issue they are accepting it back for a return. ... show more

  • Looked good - GPS doesn't work
This phone looks great. I spent the better part of a day reinstalling my apps and setting it up. Then when I tried it out using Google Maps there was a problem. The route set up as expected, but as soon as I started driving the phone reported that it was "waiting on the GPS." I downloaded a couple of GPS apps and they both failed to find the GPS. I am in the process of returning the LG. ... show more

  • It works well and excellent photos
I really like this phone. This is my third one since I dropped the other two and cracked the screen. One of hte best features on this phone is the ability to switch out batteries. I generally do this twice a day. I have one charging phone in my home-office and one in my bedroom. I see other people running for power cords to charge their batteries while I just swap out mine and I'm good to go. Additionally, the phone is light, thin and has a great screen size. The phone also takes great photos and you cannot best the price. ... show more

  • Excellent camera and battery life! Not so perfect screen
Really there are only 3 cons with this phone and none are deal breakers considering the competition at this price point. 1. Screen image retention. This isn't the same as screen burn in but the visual effect is the same. Let's say you're reading Gmail and then go to Chrome. You'll be able to see a ghost image of your Gmail margins and some icons. This happens daily and is not permanent - you're not actually burning your toolbar into the screen. It will fade and then come back as the ghost of something else. This won't affect performance but it's annoying and unexpected. It won't happen with all applications or be there all the time. No apps can fix this issue, so please don't waste your time. I have a black background that seems to help and I use a bluelight filter that has been claimed to help. Not sure if it does but it's nice on the eyes at night :) 2. The curved glass at the top of the phone will affect some cases. My case doesn't cover this area so I don't worry about it now, but I had other cases that didn't fit as snug as they could have because that's a tricky area. 3. The manual controls on the camera do not apply to video mode. For some reason they changed this from their similar models. Be aware. Pros! 1. The camera offers plenty of manual control and is a beast! Just don't count on using much zoom as you will lose image quality. Video is outstanding and image stability is excellent! 2. Battery life is phenomenal. Most people should get through a day with no problem. I'm a heavy user but the phone charges fast! Buy additional batteries if you want to have a full charge under any conditions. They are easy to swap out. 3. Micro SD capability. I never run out of space. 4. Long term stability. I've owned this phone for nearly a year and the quality and stability is still solid. I miss the waterproofing of the Samsung S5 and the front home button, but the fingerprint scanner on the back works much better. Still a solid choice for a phone in April of 2018! ... show more

  • Great phone for price.
Bought a used one for $125 that turned out to be like new. Wanted mostly current phone to be my backup phone in case something happens to my LG V20. I was keeping a G4 as a backup and the G5 has a much nicer screen, still has a removable battery and decent sound. The G4 was my favorite phone because of how easy it was to repair camera and charging port, etc. But with all that, I would buy another G5 if I need another backup phone. ... show more

  • Okay
Got this for my mom. Not as happy with this as we were with the G3. The phone overheats a lot and the battery tends to drain fast. But other than that it works good. I recently got a G6 and that is working a lot better. My mom is looking forward to upgrading for more battery life.

Awsome phone. I can tell its well made and will last. Also the battery is better then I expected with getting extra batteries or changing them being easy and cheap.
