  • If you're looking for a great gaming OLED TV without breaking the bank look no further.
Size: 65 Inches Style: TV Only
I’ve been eyeing a high-end display for a while, and the LG 65-Inch B4 OLED has absolutely transformed my home setup. If you’re coming from a standard LED or even a high-end Mini-LED, the difference is staggering, especially when it comes to depth and color accuracy. Cinematic Mastery: The movies on this TV look incredible. Because it's an OLED, the blacks are truly "infinite"—there is zero grayness or "blooming" around bright objects. Watching a movie in a dark room feels like being in a theater. The α8 AI Processor does a phenomenal job of making even standard streaming content look like native 4K. With Filmmaker Mode, you’re seeing exactly what the director intended without any artificial smoothing. Pro-Level Gaming: For gaming, this is a beast. The Colors & Blacks: In games like Cyberpunk 2077 or Call of Duty, the contrast between dark alleys and vibrant neon lights is stunning. The rich colors bring a level of realism that makes everything more immersive. Pure Speed: The 120Hz native refresh rate and sub-0.1ms response time mean zero lag. It has four HDMI 2.1 ports, so my PS5 Pro and other high-end peripherals all run at full bandwidth. Smooth Action: It’s fully compatible with G-Sync, FreeSync, and VRR, so the motion is butter-smooth even during intense, fast-paced action. Other Perks Worth Mentioning: Perfect Viewing Angles: No matter where you sit on the couch, the colors don't wash out. Ultra-Thin Profile: It's sleek and surprisingly light for its size, making it easy to mount. AI Sound Pro: While I recommend a soundbar for the best experience (it supports eARC and Dolby Atmos perfectly), the built-in AI sound actually does a decent job of up-mixing audio to fill the room. Verdict: If you value deep, rich blacks and vibrant, lifelike colors for your movies and games, this is the best value OLED on the market. It’s a massive upgrade that you’ll notice every time you turn it on. ... show more

  • Hard to believe this is entry level OLED! Hard to believe this is entry level OLED!
Size: 65 Inches Style: TV Only
This is my first OLED TV and I almost didn't buy it because of all the "entry level" chatter. I watched a few detailed reviews though and they all said the same things, which is that the TV is awesome, but there are others that are extra awesome and a lot of extra money. I am so glad I went with this. For starters, the picture is flat out sick. I cannot believe the difference between this and my other non-OLED 4k TVs. I am going to wind up going broke replacing them. The blacks and darker scenes are so crystal clear and perfect, no ghosting, no scaling, it is just perfect. What really knocked my socks off though were the 2 things that people were lukewarm on, and that is the sound and the remote. I included the pic to show the size of the room. I am standing 10 feet behind the sofa. This is an open floor plan with a bigger space than the picture shows and this TV fills not only the room, but the entire first floor and then some. The AI sound feature absolutely rocks! I swear it is equal to my Sonos Play 5. You can google cast to the TV too which is great. As for the remote, it is awesome. Sometimes the pointer is nice, but if you don't like it just don't activate it. The modes are seamless. Voice activation is great and you can search inside apps, not just outside. It has good weight and feels nice in hand. Total winner. LG Web OS is super fast and easy to customize. The LG Thin Q app is also nice and double as a remote. Setup was simple. I just don't know how anyone could not be happy with this TV. ... show more

  • Another great LG OLED
Size: 65 Inches Style: TV Only
I have been a LG OLED owner for 10 years now. Our first one did have a board failure but it was the 1st Gen and curved. Our 2nd LG OLED was slightly curved and is going strong for over 6 years. I bought this one because of the huge price decrease. When I bought my 2nd OLED in 2019 the 55" was $1600 and the 65" was $2400, this got down to less than $1k and it was a no brainer to buy, even though I didn't really need it. This one is not as bright as the C series (or G series) but all the features are there, I don't need the high refresh rates as I'm not a huge gamer but more of a movie watcher. OLED is the best TV you can get now for picture quality and the blackest blacks. Smart TV features are good and work well (better than an AppleTV) and I'm actually one that likes the magic remote function that works like an air mouse. Inputs and outputs on the back of the TV are well placed and offer just about everything you will need including an optical audio output, which is a must for me. ... show more

  • Great Price And Picture Quality Also Very Bright Great Price And Picture Quality Also Very Bright
I’ve had the Tv for over a year now. Well made great picture Bright even in daylight I own a LG before so the remote control didn’t bother me I like it. Free Amazon setup was very professional. Well made. The only problem is the agreement that you have to agree to. Too setup the internal web OS agreement I refused it and just use boxes as my web OS other than that it’s a great TV. Would highly recommend. ... show more

  • Disappointing. Half of the streaming apps don’t work.
Size: 55 Inches Style: TV Only
Update: after almost a year, I’m still not loving this tv and will not buy LG again because of it. In theory, if the features all worked it would be a great one. But they don’t. It is slow, difficult to perform the simplest of tasks, a complete waste of money. Trying to update an app took me 20 minutes. And you would think an update would be a good thing, however, the app that didn’t work before, still does not work. Yay. And believe me, I have tried everything to make this tv work to the best of its ability. It’s terrible. Maybe I got a dud, but I won’t trust to try LG again. I was excited for this TV. It’s the first LG I have had, I typically buy Samsung. But the features of this TV were especially great for the price. Wellll… half of the streaming apps for this TV do not work. Customer service was zero help. They need to update their apps asap. I had to plug in my fire stick to watch half of them including Disney and Hulu, but others as well. Otherwise, the TV would be great. Features and picture are great. But why spend $1,000+ on a TV that doesn’t do what it’s made for? I shouldn’t have to use a fire stick. Also, I set up the remote to control the fire stick which would be a plus, except for the fact that it will randomly stop controlling the fire stick and I have to set it up again, and again. I think I will stick to Samsung after this one, as they have been most reliable for me in the past. If I had not bought it online and it wouldn’t be such a hassle to return I would have returned it. Disappointed. ... show more

  • Simply gorgeous and amazingly convenient Simply gorgeous and amazingly convenient
Size: 55 Inches Style: TV Only
This TV is special. In fact, every OLED tv that I’ve come across is special in that the black levels are so incredibly inky-black and this LG B4 is no different. The model letter denotes the level of TV (higher the better, generally) and the number is the year, so this would be 2024’s model. I can directly compare this to the C4 and I’ll say the picture quality is slightly less distinct but it’s still amazing. It’s a lot brighter than my B8 that I had for over 5 years, one that didn’t have any burn in but it did have some dead pixels around the outside edge. They updated the software for a long time and still update the apps, which gives me a lot of confidence in this TV’s longevity. Some other TV’s don’t update apps to keep them running smoothly for as long (looking at you Sony) but the OS is amazing. The web browser is outstanding and it blocks a good number of ads that pop up natively. There is so much to love about this TV if you can find it for a good value. What I love: 120 Hz native refresh panel that appears to go to 144 for variable refresh. This is outstanding for gaming Input lag is RIDICULOUSLY low (again, great for gaming) Beautiful picture out of the box, pretty calibrated Lots of options for picture quality, including an AI option to adjust it based on some pictures you like. Cool setup The Operating System (OS). So easy to use, laid out smartly, so many options for entertainment whether it’s LG channels to watch tons of content or use the included web browser for a LOT more options. So many options to adjust the picture. Lots of control and advanced options. The magic remote pointer is so helpful and great to use. Setup was a snap, super easy and I’m getting used to it a lot more than some other brands. Color…this TV has some amazing color and the picture pops. It’s beautiful, simply beautiful and I enjoy watching tv just to see how great it looks. It’s spoiled me when watching in other places, however. 2.1 HDMI ports, all 4 are that new standard and can do 4K at 60Hz. Awesome value Things I’m not sure about: The stand is made of 2 parts and it’s seemingly got some options regarding how it’s set up (but I mounted mine). You used to be able to bring up an app menu while still watching content. Now you have to go to the Home Screen. A minor annoyance. Things I do not like: The new remote doesn’t stand up like the old one. I LOVED that. It took up a lot less space but I get why they did it. They removed the play and pause buttons from the remote and it’s just got the wheel to pause and play. I get why they did it but I preferred a pause/play button. 2 out of the 4 HDMI ports are on the back. This is fine for putting the TV on the stand but it’s an awful design for mounting it on the wall. The C4 does not have this issue as all 4 are on the side. This is a great quality TV, it’s got good sound, seamless wifi, and all of the above. Overall, I think this is an amazing TV and it’s their new “entry level” OLED but it’s nowhere near an entry level TV. It’s absolutely amazing if you like deep blacks, the lack of blooming, saving some electricity (individual pixels turn off to make black, unlike traditional or QLED TV’s), love variable refresh rates, low lag for gaming, and want a beautifully operational OS, this is an excellent choice. The B4 and C4 (and even the B8 for that matter) are gorgeous and I’ll never go back to non-OLED if I can ever avoid it. Highly recommend, 9.5 out of 10. ... show more
