Was able to reset it with holding the power button, so it appears to be a software issue rather than a bad led panel. Now it's doing this almost every day at random times. Quite unexpected for LG... The 65" LG tv was very good and worth the price. Now I will relate a learning curve for future buyers of these big screen tvs no matter the manufacturer. Learn experience: We had a storm electrical issue which burned out all our electronics Evan though they were all on ground fault protectors. If your tv fails for some reason LG will try to fix it with local techs and two 12x12" modules. Now the lesson is BE VERY CAUTIOUS ABOUT THE SCREEN IT IS VERY SUSCEPTIBLE TO DAMAGE IT TOUCHED TOO HARD OR LAYED AGAINST WALL OR LAYED FLAT AND PREASURE APPLIED. This applies to all manufacturers of these bigger tvs. I was surprised by this not having any experience with this new technology. I have several LG TVs in my house. I generally like them, but their so-called "smart" features can be a PITA when you just want to watch TV. I mostly watch over-the-air broadcast TV, but my house mates watch all sort of streaming services. When I turn it on in the morning, there are too many damn buttons and procedures to go through before simply watching good old "TV.". Why cant they have a simple "TV" button like they used to and like their supposedly not-so-smart ancestors have? Other than this software difficulty, I guess it is fine. I would warn prospective home owners who want to install this by themselves that this is a larger piece of equipment, My fiancée kept shouting she was going to drop it while trying to hoist it onto a wall mount. Fortunately she held on, but we both left sweat marks all over the TV screen in our struggle to mount it. ... show more

Aside from the fact that fed ex left the box uncovered in my driveway during a rainstorm, uncovered, and didn't so much as ring the doorbell, everything as great. Obviously this was not the sellers fault and luckily someone was home and noticed the truck driving away. The LG Nanocell 80 series arrived way ahead of schedule by about a week. The box was undamaged and was packaged well. The picture is incredible compared t my old TV. We use Roku and the picture is great whether you go through the smart tv or the Roku stick. The remote is a little difficult to get used to but like all things I'm sure this will come with time. Definitely needed two people to get the TV out of the box and set up but it was pretty easy to get done. Once out of the box the TV was really easy to set up and didn't take much time to update and get going. Overall I'm pretty happy with the TV and would buy again from this seller. ... show more

However, I had to write a review on this TV...it is absolutely amazing in so many aspects! Starting with setting up the unit, it was shockingly easy..no cables or wires! Had it up and running in under 5 mins. Secondly, from the TV to the remote, it is extremely user friendly and easy to understand! The "hardest" part was linking aprevious apps to the new TV. I had them all linked in under 5 mins as well.. Thirdly, the picture quality (once it dialed itself in with the internet) is positively beautiful! There are a good handful of screen selections, I chose the "vivid" setting, and the colors really pop on screen, but stay realistic. Overall, LG has outdone themselves on this one. "Bang for the Buck" value makes it easily affordable, ease of use, picture clarity/quality makes this a hands down easy decision. If you don't have one but need one I would highly recommend this. It's a solid choice and I'm extremely happy I did the research and chose this. 5 stars across the board! ... show more

Outstanding picture quality, good internal sound reproduction, very easy to set up and use. My husband and I love this tv, but I have to take a star off for the remote as it's not exactly user friendly. The little button in the middle is hard to use and I don't have long thumbnails, but whenever I try to make a selection, it scrolls around and is just finicky. There's no clear pause/play/etc. on the remote as far as I can tell(nothing is really labeled). The volume button is odd too, like if I turn it down, it feels like I'm pushing the volume up.
