  • I typically don't write reviews
Style: 65NANO80UPA Pattern Name: Smart TV
However, I had to write a review on this TV...it is absolutely amazing in so many aspects! Starting with setting up the unit, it was shockingly easy..no cables or wires! Had it up and running in under 5 mins. Secondly, from the TV to the remote, it is extremely user friendly and easy to understand! The "hardest" part was linking aprevious apps to the new TV. I had them all linked in under 5 mins as well.. Thirdly, the picture quality (once it dialed itself in with the internet) is positively beautiful! There are a good handful of screen selections, I chose the "vivid" setting, and the colors really pop on screen, but stay realistic. Overall, LG has outdone themselves on this one. "Bang for the Buck" value makes it easily affordable, ease of use, picture clarity/quality makes this a hands down easy decision. If you don't have one but need one I would highly recommend this. It's a solid choice and I'm extremely happy I did the research and chose this. 5 stars across the board! ... show more

  • Great quality
Style: 50NANO80UPA Pattern Name: Smart TV
When we were initially researching replacement TVs I wasn’t sold on this price. However, after comparing reviews to other TVs that may have been cheaper, it seemed like this was the better option. We have only had it for a month, and so far it works well. The remote is easy to use, and the pointer feature is handy too. The apps that are already included on the tv are helpful, compared to having to download them. And the picture is remarkable! The only issue we have found is the ability for the internet to stay connected, but there are some other issues that could have caused this. Overall, yes… it’s pricy. But it does seem to be worth the money. ... show more

  • Screen goes black
Style: 65NANO80UPA Pattern Name: Smart TV
Got the television on 9/21, 2nd day in the screen goes black, but you can still hear sound. Have to unplug it and wait 3 minutes, plug it back in and it works for a little while, then goes out again. LG sends me to Amazon, Amazon sends me to LG. Wouldn't buy this again.

  • Very Happy

Excellent TV. I’m very happy with my purchase. I wish it came with an owner’s manual. The remote unnecessarily complex however I am able to use my cable remote for everything except setup.

  • On second thought... stay away from LG Nanocell.
Style: 75NANO80UPA Pattern Name: Smart TV
(Note: This item has been returned) So it was finally time to make the upgrade to 4K coming from a 10 year old 60in VIZIO 3D HDTV. We picked the 75in LG NANO80 as being the best compromise between price, features, and screen real estate. Unfortunately, this calculus was incorrect. Some things to know: * The NANO80 is an edge-lit IPS panel. This means either blacks will verge on greyish or completely crushed. Trying to null out blacklight bleed, especially in letterbox bars, and still achieve a decent picture is impossible. IPS viewing angle, while retaining color, is actually worse than VA as backlight bleed starts to erase any benefit. * HDR yes, but no Dolby Vision. If you need Dolby Vision look at the LG NANO85 or NANO90 series if you must get a Nanocell. * It does have eARC, which can pass Dolby Atmos sound from the TV apps back to your AV reciever or soundbar. * Cables matter. Vanilla 4K or 1080p works fine with just about any HDMI cable, but as you turn on features like HDR and Dolby Atmos on a gaming console or 4K Blu Ray player you will have issues with the picture cutting out or your source locking up. I recommend grabbing some 8K/48gbps cables to interconnect. * The colors really pop, especially after enabling BT2020, but the aforementioned problems with backlight, brightness, and contrast make the colors a moot point. Also, enabling BT2020 means having to enter a code to access a secret menu.. it isn't part of the regular picture options. * The Magic Remote is solidly built and has features of a Universal Remote, but is no replacement for one as it basically controls sources thru HDMI CEC, making it very limited. Bottom line: there is no combination of tweaking to make the NANO80 viable. There are inherent design defects in this, and every other TV in the LG Nanocell range. If you need a 75in 4K TV and need to stay under the $2K price point I recommend looking at the Sony X90J, a full-array VA panel, which I can confirm is excellent. Kudos to Amazon for delivering this gigantic package on time and in pristine condition, and for coming back to pickup the return. ... show more

  • Worth every penny
Style: 50NANO80UPA Pattern Name: Smart TV
Only reason I gave 4 stars was because the digital output was inoperable (easy solution use Bluetooth). Was extremely displeased at Amazons handling of the shipping, they made and “confirmed” a Saturday delivery when that’s not an option in my state which means they never confirmed it because UPS would have told them the same. ... show more

  • Great TV. Picture pops.
Style: 65NANO80UPA Pattern Name: Smart TV
Aside from the fact that fed ex left the box uncovered in my driveway during a rainstorm, uncovered, and didn't so much as ring the doorbell, everything as great. Obviously this was not the sellers fault and luckily someone was home and noticed the truck driving away. The LG Nanocell 80 series arrived way ahead of schedule by about a week. The box was undamaged and was packaged well. The picture is incredible compared t my old TV. We use Roku and the picture is great whether you go through the smart tv or the Roku stick. The remote is a little difficult to get used to but like all things I'm sure this will come with time. Definitely needed two people to get the TV out of the box and set up but it was pretty easy to get done. Once out of the box the TV was really easy to set up and didn't take much time to update and get going. Overall I'm pretty happy with the TV and would buy again from this seller. ... show more

  • Great quality for the price with performance that delivers
Style: 75NANO80UPA Pattern Name: Smart TV
This is truly a quality product, specially for that price. The quality of the picture is truly great; however, please note that the content will looks gorgeous if it’s in HD. This TV does a tremendously fantastic job at displaying HD content. Sound is fantastic as well, it is great for casual TV viewing. Lastly. The WebOS is in my experience one of the best TV operating systems you will find in the market. It’s cursor like navigation input makes it so easy to navigate the apps and your content. This is truly la creme de la creme for a midrange high quality TV. ... show more
