The little flap to access where to plug in the charger is very hard to open. I have long nails and couldn't open it with a nail. I used the point of a metal nail file to get it open - not ideal, not comfortable doing that. Feel like I need to leave it open, to avoid future struggle. But then that little area would not be waterproof. The sound is good, however the speaker points only directly upward, so that limits where you can put it to hear the level of sound you are meant to hear. You can't face the speaker toward you (laying it on the side, without it rolling away). It can be quite loud, but you only get the full effect if you are "over" the speaker or somehow pointing the top toward you (without it rolling away). All the buttons are on the bottom and very hard to see. Going to keep it, tho. Recommendations for future upgrades: Make the speaker portion to go part way down the side so the sound isn't only pointing up. Make the port flap easier to open. Make the buttons easy to read. Put the whole thing on a swivel-base, so there is some customization for how to angle it best for the best sound in different situations. (I have tiny speakers that have the swivel base. They aren't waterproof, so I can't use them in shower. That's why i got this one.)
