Very big light, but it is bright. I would have preferred something smaller, but it does the job. I’m not trying to race with it on. My main gripe is that the rubber strap that holds it to the bars was always too small and I had to stretch it to fit around my handlebars. My handlebars are not especially large. They are the stock road bike handlebars. The strap broke after first daylight savings season. I have been trying ever since to find a replacement for it, but I haven’t had any luck. I’m considering buying a new light, just because a replace is unavailable. ... show more

I also bought the 1000XL for a second bike. It was much brighter for daytime visibility. I have received favorable comments, from cars, that both lights make us very daytime visible. I combined it with a lightweight orange safety vest for maximum visibility. After all that I fell from my bike while going too fast on a gravel turn. I purchsed the 800xl a couple of years ago. In that time, I have used the light on at least 100 rides, many in complete darkness. I mostly use the 2 quick modes. At the brightest setting, it has lasted approx 2 hours on a single charge. On the lower brightness, it lasts approx 10 hours on a single charge. Even after 2 years of use, I am confident with this light in extreme conditions. I like this light enough to purchase a second for dual lights and a backup for ultra endurance races. It also works well as a rechargable flashlight for walking the dog at night! ... show more

Exactly what you would expect of it. It fits nicely on the handle, is not so bulky as other lights and for now i've been riding for days from home to work and back with the lowest setting (15 lumen) and the battery is still on "Green". great product!

Great light. Great design. Easy to attach and doesn’t require a fixed mount, so it can easy be fit on any other bike. It also can rotate on the mount, great feature as it can be adjusted to shine in the right spot on the road. Shines as bright as the sun out at least 15-20 feet.
