  • Lezyne 1300XXL Recgargeable Headlight
Style: Black Gloss 1300xxl
The Lezyne 1300XXL is a great bike light. It is well made and comes with a micro charging cable. The 1300 lumen setting offers great visibility for lonely roads or trails in absolute darkness, but 1300 lumens is a bit bright for the eyes of oncoming bicyclists or the drivers of oncoming cars. The 800 and 450 lumen settings take less juice, so the battery lasts longer while using these settings. For my purposes, the 800 or even 450 lumen settings are quite adequate for most of my on-road night riding. To insure long battery life, the manual suggests that owners should let the battery completely run down before recharging. This would likely be the case for any rechargeable bike light, but it gives one cause to pause as to what might happen on a long ride when the battery runs dry. Will you cary a spare light? The spare could be any old light to allow you to get home safely, or it could be another high intensity light. This would not be a problem if you just recharged the battery after each use, or perhaps when the charge drops to 50% (when on off button shows yellow light). Keep in mind that you may want to use the 150 lumen flash or pulse modes in the daytime to enhance your safety when riding in daytime traffic, or on long rides that end well after dark, you may be operating light in one setting or another for a long time. To prolong battery life, I plan to let my light discharge before recharging. My solution was to purchase a second Lezyne 1300XXL, and then use the two lights in sequence so that I will always have a fully charged spare on board if one becomes fully discharged. I like this light that much. It seems to be well designed and well built. The strap that attaches the light to my handlebars seems to hold the light securely in place while allowing me to lower to raise the angle of the light body in the event that the light is operating at the 1300 lumen setting and an occasional vehicle approaches without having to change the intensity of the beam. The only criticism is that I have about the light is that although the "race mode" is a great addition, allowing the rider to quickly switch from1300 lumens to a lower setting, that low setting in "race mode" is perhaps too low for most uses." Also please note that Lezyne offers some to interesting accessories for this light including a remote control button. These options and the light itself are described in more detail on the Lezyne website: https://ride.lezyne.com ... show more

  • Bright and Durable
Style: Silver 1300xxl
Lezyne makes high quality products. This light is so bright that I rarely use it on its highest setting. I frequently go on 2 hour long night rides, and the battery has never let me down. I will say it is heavy, but in this case, I think that also means heavy duty. I used to be dubious about lights with quick release straps, afraid they would wear out. But, I've had this over a year and it's like new. The convenience in switching between bikes is worth it. ... show more

  • Multiple compliments first time out...
Style: Black 1400+
Got multiple compliments on my fresh out of box day-ride: "Great light!", "Wow, nice and bright!", etc, etc. Love the fact that with my night riding schedule the charge should easily last a week, and it uses my standard USB-C charge cable...no proprietary charger. Message to Lezyne engineering: The mount on this older design model is far better than the newer design when applied to a standard diameter handlebar (older Specialized Sirrus). Five stars! ... show more

  • I think this may be the best, for the cost.
Style: Silver 1300xxl
My old 800lm headlight went out. Would not accept a charge any longer and was out of warranty. After researching, I finally decided on this model. This 1300lm is awesome. I usually wear it on my helmet (I bought the helmet mount too). I programmed it for race mode, so it only uses the medium and high settings. Normally I just run medium steady light. I have yet to run out of battery. Battery has been terrific. On our night rides, my buddies comment on how bright the light is. I love the way the light lights up the trail, and I never worry about having enough light. All I can tell you is this light is terrific. Easy to use. Has race mode. It is everything I wanted in a light. And of course, the brightest light and run time I could find at the 1300lm. (It is also the least expensive name brand light, which is a plus). This light is a must buy. ... show more

Style: Silver 1300xxl
Works well, has all the features as advertised. With full charge and full brightness, can expect about 45-60 Minutes.

  • Awesome for what it is. It's like a modern auto headlight.
Style: Silver 1300xxl
This is a large capacity, heavy, bombproof cycling headlight. It is definitely not for cycling weight weenies. What it is is a super durable, super bright headlight for your bicycle that will illuminate the entire road and shoulders and even off to the tree line in many cases with a flood of light and virtually no dark areas. Maximum illumination on the high setting. Even on the low setting it outshines many of my smaller lights, but this one would run for three or four times as long at that setting. I ride in a rural area where one of my biggest concerns is deer blasting from the brush into the road. This not only lets them know that I'm coming but also gives me the greatest amount of time to react to dear loitering at the edge of the woods. ... show more

  • So bright
Style: Matte Black 1300xxl
I don’t think I’ll need anything brighter. I have a hard time seeing, doctor says I need more light, well viola.

  • Awesome Headlight, Excellent For High-Speed E-Bikes
Style: Matte Black 1300xxl
The battery on this thing lasts at least as long as advertised, and in my case, a bit longer. The 1300-lumen mode is nearly equivalent to a sport bike headlamp. Excellent for going high speeds on an e-bike on a completely unlit path. The "nano" mode, while useless for riding, makes for a really nice little flashlight, and it'll last weeks on that power. Very happy with the thing overall, and I use it to get to and from work. ... show more
