  • I came back for a second one!!!
Style: Single *: 250MB/s Capacity: 256GB
This is actually the second one I’ve bought this week—that’s how much I like it. The Lexar 1667x 256GB SDXC UHS-II card has been rock solid for both photography and video. I originally picked it up for a 4K video shoot, and it handled everything I threw at it with no buffering, no lag, and no overheating. I’ve shot continuous bursts in RAW on my mirrorless camera and captured long-form 4K video clips without a single hiccup. Transfers are fast too. I clocked read speeds around 225–230 MB/s using a USB-C reader, which made offloading footage and large photo sets much quicker than I expected at this price point. Write speeds in-camera felt consistent—definitely above the 60 MB/s V60 rating, which is ideal for 4K. Honestly, I was so impressed with the performance and value that I grabbed a second card right away. It's a great price for UHS-II, and you get nearly the same real-world performance as some of the much pricier brands. If you're doing any kind of pro or semi-pro work—event photography, vlogging, or anything that involves fast burst shooting or high-resolution video—this is an easy recommendation. Reliable, fast, and a great deal for the money. I'll likely be picking up a third soon. ... show more

  • A photographer's reliable workhorse SD card
Style: Single *: 250MB/s Capacity: 128GB
I recently upgraded to the Lexar 128GB Professional SD card for my mirrorless camera setup, and it has quickly become the most reliable card in my kit. For photographers who shoot a mix of high-resolution stills (especially RAW files) and 4K video, this card strikes the perfect balance of speed, capacity, and sheer dependability. The 128GB capacity is the sweet spot, providing ample space to cover a full wedding, event, or long day of landscape shooting without the anxiety of running out of space. I can capture thousands of full-size RAW images and still have room for a substantial amount of 4K footage. What truly sets this card apart is its speed. Whether I'm firing off a high-speed burst sequence to catch a decisive moment in sports or wildlife photography, or recording high-bitrate 4K video, the Lexar keeps up effortlessly. I have noticed a significantly reduced buffer time compared to my older cards, allowing me to keep shooting without missing a beat. Beyond the in-camera performance, the fast read speeds are a massive boost to my workflow. Transferring 64GB or more of data to my computer used to be a long, tedious process, but now the transfer time is cut dramatically. This efficiency saves me valuable time when I'm under a tight editing deadline. In a profession where equipment failure can be catastrophic, I value reliability above all else. The Lexar Professional series, with its known durability against temperature, shock, and X-rays, gives me total peace of mind. If you’re looking for a high-performance memory card that delivers on its promises and allows you to focus purely on your creativity, the Lexar 128GB SD card is an outstanding investment. ... show more

  • Great Mid-Grade SD card for Video Recording
Style: Single *: 250MB/s Capacity: 128GB
Bottomline up front: A performance SD card that can handle all but the absolute highest video recordings I feel like this card is suitable for most non-professional users, like aspiring video creators. I use this SD card in my Sony FX30 and and I typically record at XAVC S 4K @ 60p, 200M 4:2:2 10 bit without any issues. Transferring from the card to my computer is super quick. You also get a reliable name for a reasonable price. Sure there are other V60 cards out there for cheaper, but have you seen some of those brand names??? Definitely recommend, as this card offers a good balance of price, performance, and known reliability, and would be suitable for most if not all casual to enthusiast users. Pros: - Reliable brand - Can handle all but recording at the highest settings (at that point, just get a V90 or CFA Express) - Reasonable price for storage amount - Durable - Seems suitable for most non-professional users, or maybe even as a backup card for professional users Cons: - Higher storage volumes get pricey quickly ... show more

  • Solid Cards for Photography. Best Value for Event Shooters
Style: 2-PACK *: 250MB/s Capacity: 128GB
I’ve been using this Lexar 2-pack primarily for photography with my Lumix S5X2, and they have been a great value. Each 128GB card gives me around 2000 RAW photos, which is plenty for event work. I typically use one as my main card and the second as a backup in case something goes wrong. The dual slot setup lets me keep shooting even if one fills up, so I can get about 4000 RAW images between the two. That kind of flexibility is exactly what I need. These cards are rated V60, which is perfect for photography but not ideal for higher resolution video. When I tried recording 4K or higher directly to the card, I noticed my camera started to lag. That is expected with the speed limitations, so I now use an external SSD for video. But for stills, these cards have performed without any issues. Lexar has been a solid alternative to brands like Sandisk, and for the price, this set is a smart buy for photographers who need fast, reliable short-term storage. Pros: - Each card stores roughly 2000 RAW photos - Great for dual card setups - Reliable performance for still photography - Affordable alternative to more expensive brands Cons: - Not fast enough for high-bitrate 4K video - Some lag when recording video directly to card If you're mainly focused on photography and need dependable cards at a good price, this Lexar 2-pack is a great choice. I would recommend it to any photographer looking for storage that performs well under pressure. ... show more
