  • Oh Sony
Style: Card
Was annoyed at Sony for having to buy an expensive card when I already have Cfast cards for my Canon. Works great though, and speeds are fast transferring

  • Sony THOUGH CFexpress Type A Card

The "Sony THOUGH CFexpress Type A" card is Expensive, but it delivers the high write/read speed required by your digital device.

  • My preferred card to use
Style: Card
I don't shoot a lot of video on my Sony A7iii, but I do shoot a lot of action photos outdoors on horseback rides. The card writes faster than any SD card I've ever used, which is critical when shooting horses of different patience levels at a variety of speeds.

  • much more reliable than scandisk
Style: Card
I don't use any more Scandisk SD cards, which failed twice, and I can't recover any data. If you don't miss any video and picutres, buy a Sony card

  • Sony excellence
Style: Card
Using in my new fx3. Is great to be able to shoot all formats with just one card. A bit high in price but so is most pro gear, so definitely worth it.

  • Like everyone says....pricey
Style: Card
I would gladly pay $400 for 500GB cards, which would equate to less than $1 per GB. Paying $400 for 160GB cards is more than $2.50 per GB. That just hurts. Having said that, these cards are incredible reliable and incredibly fast, especially on the A1. If you're going to have a camera with specs that are really high, it's worth it to have the cards to take advantage. I haven't tested fast SD cards with 8K video, but for high frame rate photography, the difference between these CFexpress cards and high speed SD cards is a huge impact on buffering. ... show more
