The air purifier works great. I keep it in my bedroom as I like the calming sound of it as I sleep. I love that it filters out dust and odors from the air. Easy to Bluetooth to an app on your phone which I really like also. The unit is very easy to set up with the included filters. I plan to get a larger one for my living areas. In the meantime, though the unit actually stopped working after a year, the Levoit company exchanged it for free as they have a two-year warranty. Their customer service is fantastic. You get a person when you call. I highly recommend buying an air purifier from this company. They most definitely stand behind their products. ... show more

UPDATE: new unit is on the way. Very good customer service from the company. We'll see how the new one works and then I'll update again SECOND UPDATE; Whisper quiet. I have to walk up to it to see if it is on. I guess it is working OK, the light is blue all the time. The company sent me a replacement and it does the same thing. Blue all the time, so I guess my house was clean and pure all along. This will keep it that way. Like: It is very quiet even on high. Not a bother to sleep at all. Dislike: I don't think it is working. The light is blue all the time no matter what room I put it in. I put this thing through the paces such as: lit two candles right next to it and later blew them out. Put it in my craft room which is very VERY dusty. Put Tea Tree oil on a tissue and waved it over the top for several minutes. I even went so far as to open the door to the garage while the car was running. The ONLY time it turned red was briefly ( abot 90 seconds) after I put it in a small bathroom and cleaned the litter pan. The top of the machine was covered in dust this morning but but still never showed red. I cleaned the dust sensor lens TWICE and reset the button twice. The Levoit box had a big hole in the bottom but the Amazon box did not. Amazon should have never shipped that box out. Feel like I have been scammed. UPDATE: After a year, I feel like this is doing a great job. Within minutes after taking a shower, the light turns green or red. I found out that in the beginning, it will stay blue for a long time. It takes several attempts to make it turn green or red, but after that, it responds quickly. I feel like I am sleeping better by having it in my bedroom. I bought one of these air purifiers and we loved it. Worked great and very quite. So I bought 3 more. Then one of them died. I chalked it up to the occasional product failure and just purchased a replacement - our 5th unit. Then the replacement died. 2 failures out of 5 is not random failure so I decided to contact Levoit which is owned by VeSync and sells products using the name Etekcity. I called the number on the sticker on the purifier that says "Don't hesitate to call us". I got a recording that said due to large call volumes they are only accepting emails for support. I sent them an email on Sep 1st describing the problem. I got a response on September 5th asking for a picture of the failure and a copy of the invoice info. I sent them a picture of the failure (included in the review) and invoices for all 5 purifiers on Sept 5th. I had not heard back from support by Sept 11th so I sent them a follow-up email asking when I should expect to get a response. Still nothing. I sent Levoit another email on Sept 15th trying to get their attention. It is now Sept 17 and still no word from Levoit/Etekcity/VeSync. It seems like they are absolutely buried in product failures. The basic design concept was good but the quality and support are very, very poor. Too bad. I just purchased a Coway Airmega 200M as a replacement. This model has been WireCutter's top air purifier pick for 9 years in a row. I recommend not risking your money with Levoit. ... show more

    • Updates to an awesome system
I love this purifier. I bought it in late January 2020. It works very well in out bedroom. We have large long-haired dogs, and keeping allergens down in the the bedroom was a must. But... it just died mid October 2020. The touch screen is totally unresponsive. I've tried everything except taking it apart to figure it out. Levoit is not accepting calls to customer support, due to the West Coast fires. I have an email in to them for help. Amazon's product help goes straight to contact info for Levoit, so no help there. I will update this rating if/when I hear back from Levoit. Wish me luck. Update: Changing my rating to 4 stars, based solely on Levoit's customer service. They're in California. Due to the fires, they can't answer phone calls to customer support (IDK why, that's what the message said). But they did answer my emails very quickly. Downside: there's no fix for my machine, and they can't send a replacement (again, I'm guessing because of the fires). But they are refunding most of my purchase cost. Now, I need to decide whether it's a good bet to buy another one. Update 2: I did buy a new one, and a third. This is a great purifier. My husband quit snoring so harshly. However, this will not stand up to having a 225# man pass out on it. It took about a month after the accident for the whole thig to quit responding. Physically, I couldn't tell there was any damage, but the unit got torqued when he hit and popped the back panel off. Then the poor thing died a month later. ... show more
