I would have given this product 5 stars except the fake plants that come with it don't fill the hole and it came without a way to secure (like styrofoam) the plants in the pot. So they just laid in the pot and made it look cheap. I wound up buying and planting a real succulent in the pot.

The product worked great for 2-1/2 years. Then the base stopped working and the white ceramic plant-holder no longer hovers above the base. I purchased the item via Amazon Prime, and it is advertised as having a “LIFETIME GUARANTEE - If this product does not meet your need for any reason we will replace or refund your money.” I would like a replacement for this product because when it works, it is great. I received this as a gift. I love how it works. To think of the science that went into creating this is amazing to me. Things I like: cute, interesting, fun, conversation starter Things I don't like: once it loses power, the planter comes crashing down (due to magnets) and makes a mess everywhere and can damage plants that are in it. The same thing will happen if it is not perfectly centered while on and if you bump it in any way. Definitely keep away from children as this could potentially crush some little fingers. Last thing I don't like that much is it is small which is expected given the description is accurate. I just wish there was larger planter sizes because this at most will fit a very small plant or succulent. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I wasn't sure exactly what to expect, but it turns out it's exactly what's advertized. I didn't want a plant in it an opted for another decoration - not what's in the video, which was a test. Mine rotates about 90-270 degrees one way, depending on the moment, then turns the other way, much slower than some of the other examples, but it's quite nice like this. The media could not be loaded. Back to the Future promised hover cars and hover boards, but at least we got hover pots. Very sleek and elegant, also a VERY small pot, it holds about 1 cup (8floz) of soil but it works for a small sapling I'm starting! NOTE: IN THE VIDEO, I SPUN IT before filming on purpose. It doesn't spin like that, I usually find it slowly oscillating half a rotation in 5-10 seconds, or just completely still. It's very fun and easy to spin with one finger and very stable floating, even with a poorly distributed load. I imagine it will do fine with a moderately asymmetrical bonsai, but a big windblown one might not work lol ... show more
