These are my favorite shorts for summer. I have several pairs that I wear on repeat because they’re comfortable, flattering, and hold up really well. I ordered a size up from what I already have since I’m postpartum, but I ended up not needing it—my original size still fits me best. So I did return these, but only because of sizing, not the product itself. I do suggest sizing up 1 size from your normal size. I usually wear a 29 and have these in a size 30 and they fit great. these are super cute and look very flattering but they run SMALL. I used to wear 32s in Levi’s but lost 30 pounds this year so I ordered a size down and they didn’t fit at ALL. I reordered a size 33 and they still fit tighter. My Levi jeans in a 32 barely stay on me anymore but these are snug in a 33. They’re still super cute and comfy, guess it gives me room to size down into them for awhile lol ... show more

Yes yes yes! I have been searching for the perfect pair of blue jean shorts! These are them! So worth it! I’m normally a size 3/5 in Kansan style jeans. I did a 29 in these. A little loose but I love them.

I feel like "cute/flattering but uncomfortable" is the tagline I could use for pretty much every pair of Levi's I've tried, minus the stretchier styles. To start, I got these in both a SIZE 32 and 33 in the color LUXOR HEAT. I'm anywhere between a size 8-12 with a 31" waist and 43" hips, give or take, but I always feel like I have to size up in Levi's. True to form, I would not have liked my true size 30 or 31 in these, so I'm glad I went up. I ended up keeping the size 32 (pictured), as the 33s were way too baggy. I could probably have done a 31 but I like having a little extra room for my thick thighs and big butt. Keep in mind these do have the button fly, like all the 501 styles do. I personally hate button flys, but I wanted to give them a shot anyway. These shorts are adorable on - I feel really cute when I wear them and my butt looks great. However, they are pretty uncomfortable. This jean material is what I'd consider a classic, sturdy fabric with almost zero stretch, though I will say the Levi's Premium fabric is softer than the Original. These do not conform to your curves much, though I'm sure wear will eventually soften the denim (or you can search for tricks to soften them, like I eventually did). If I'm walking around or standing, I don't really have complaints, but I would probably not wear these in a situation where I'll be sitting very much. On that note, if you have thicker thighs, these shorts feel like they're going to cut them off when you're sitting. I was a soccer player for a long time so have always had larger thighs, and this is one of the reasons I've never loved wearing short-shorts, because they cut into my thighs. The edge of the fabric just digs in while you're sitting, even with these cut off styles. I'd recommend these to someone who likes a stiffer denim and/or has skinny thighs, or someone who just doesn't care, but I find myself super self-conscious sitting in these, so I don't reach for them much. I kept them because there are situations I'd still wear them, plus I just needed shorts. I much prefer my Levi's Premium 501 Mid Thigh Shorts in the same size. ... show more

Wow! I got these for$20! They fit just like the 501 pants to me. . The only thing I'd change is s little less fraying on the front but other than that these are a broken in lived in look for $20!

I was worried these shorts wouldn’t cover enough of the butt area or that I wasn’t thin enough to wear them especially since most of the reviews are from thinner people. but OMG, they’re perfect. I’m 5 4, 152 Lbs and size 30 is absolutely perfect. Size 29 would be small for me.
