I had sworn off jean shorts - haven’t bought a pair in years - but I was willing to try for The Eras Tour. After several exchanges and returns, I have the BEST PAIR OF JEAN SHORTS I HAVE EVER PURCHASED. I have NEVER loved a pair of jean shorts until now. I’m very much pear-shaped: wide hips, thick thighs, not much of a waist and small boobs. I weigh just over 200lbs and I’m 5’1”. These shorts not only fit over my hips, they sit on my waist beautifully (small waist gap that disappears when I tuck in a shirt or add a belt), and don’t cut into my thighs at all! I’ll put it this way: I feel comfortable sitting down in these shorts and don’t feel self-conscious. The fit on my butt is a little different than I’m used to, but it still looks nice and round. The shorts are worth EVERY PENNY. I’ve ordered them in two washes and plan to order more. I found the size chart to be a little funky, but as someone who loves the American Eagle Mom Jeans, I simply went up two waist “inches” and one traditional size for these shorts to get the perfect fit. If you don’t think jean shorts are for you, these jeans shorts just might be for you.

These are my go-to shorts whether I'm running errands, meeting with friends, at the pool, etc. perfectly high-waisted and flattering. It goes well with cropped shirts and matches everything.

These are super cute... but they still do the "disappearing shorts act" when you sit down. I don't know why this happens, it must be the way the fabric is cut for the hips, but what look like perfect length shorts standing become extremely short sitting down. Still, a staple in my wardrobe.

I love these already. Definitely quality made and very sturdy. The size/fit is absolutely perfect! I wish they were just a bit longer because the flair in the leg makes them seem more revealing, especially when you sit down. But I love the high waisted aspect, and they fit perfectly around my stomach (I’m 5’6, 120 lbs). Would 100% get these again.

I wish I had taken a photo of what these looked like compared to the product photo. They are not remotely the same short. I have many pairs of Levi’s and the fit was not the issue. They are not tapered like in the photo, they do not hug your thighs like the photo and despite the right size and label matchup, they had a huge gap at the top where they were not fitted like the photo either. Disappointing considering it’s LEVIS and you’d expect the same fit as their other high waisted jeans.

So my last review was not approved so I will just say, look at all the pictures of the Levi's jeans that were sent and you can decide if they are actually Levis because they don't look like it to me. Unfortunately I didn't like the style or I would of kept them anyway but they are very wide in the leg and thigh.
