Finally there is a solution for those of us who have big hips and narrow waists. No more of that awkward gaping on the waist area, the adjustable waist worked absolutely amazing for me and I wish all denim pants came with this option. Otherwise these shorts are what you'd expect from a Levi's product: great sturdy stitching, quality fabric, washes great and comfortable to wear all day every day. The feel: these shorts are comfy with a good amount of stretch. The baggy style provides plenty of leg room so your thighs aren't squished when you sit down, cross your legs, sit cross-legged, etc. These are a great length! They provide plenty of coverage while not looking frumpy. I can see these being great everyday shorts... if they can get the sizing right. The fit: these run VERY large, even with the cinch feature. I have a 28 inch waist and 39 inch hips and typically wear a size 8 in jeans, however I am in between sizes in most bottoms right now; a 6 is too small, 8 fits well, but is slightly baggy in the waist which is even more annoying when I sit and the waistband gapes out and can expose my underwear. Not cute. Anyway, these were extremely baggy in the crotch, inches large on the waist, and not at all flattering in the seat due to poor fit. Overall: I was SO excited to try these shorts after a fashion influencer posted about them, but I was disappointed. As previously mentioned, I am kind of between sizes, however these shorts run so big that I am not confident that sizing down would work after seeing just how much room there is in the waist and seat. I'm probably going to be living in these shorts for the summer. I'm also probably going to buys a couple more pairs. I have a very large bust, even more so now that im breastfeeding, so I find that shorts that add a little more volume on the bottom make me look a bit more balanced. These also do a good job of hiding my mom pooch. I purchased a size 32, but I may order a pair in size 34 for the days I just need a little more room. PLUS, these shorts have a snap-strap situation on the sides that makes it so I can pull them in a little when they are feeling a little more baggy as day progresses. ... show more
