Love these shorts. They are exactly as described and the fit is fantastic. Perfect blend of material. I am 5’5 and weigh 118 and the size 4 is PERFECT. Plenty of give and the elasticity is perfect, super comfortable!! They do not ride up…. They can be dressed up or down, zipper slides perfectly. Not too heavy for hot weather. Love them!

(sorry for the blurry mirror) For reference I’m 5’4” 135lbs and a 31 year old mom. I ordered these first in size 4/27 (my normal Levi’s size) but they were too big. I re-ordered in size 2/26 and they fit perfectly. I am normally not a size 2/26 so they ran large on me. They are extremely flattering on my pear shape. NO gap in the back of the waist! I have a thick bottom half (and short legs) and I don’t like to wear short shorts. These fit really nice! Nice mid to high rise on them. You can see in my picture it comes to about my belly button. You don’t have to worry about bending over and showing plumbers butt. The dark wash is really nice and classy looking. The pocket placement is great. They are overall extremely flattering. A little bit of stretch, but not too much. Pictures taken when the shorts were new but they’ve been washed and worn since with no issues to the actual shorts. My only issue was with the denim wash. I did have to use a color catcher while washing. It still dyed one of my white hand towels light blue! Be careful of color transfer with the dark wash! The only thing I wish was the bottom leg holes of the shorts was a tiny bit smaller so it hugged my knees a little tighter. I’m just picky! The bottom is not sewn into place so you have to roll the shorts when you get them out of the dryer. They are really flattering on the backside and I definitely recommend them for pear shapes like me. I love not having to pull shorts down from riding up when I walk. That is why I like bike shorts and Bermuda shorts. If you have big thighs you know what I mean. I think curvy girls in particular will love these. The quality on mine is very good! I am definitely going to stock up and order a bunch for summer. I wish they had more colors in my size. Hopefully this review was helpful to someone out there!

If you like a more structured, stiff denim, this may not be for you. These shorts have lots of stretch and run a little large. I usually wear 27 in Levi’s and these are 27, but they’re roomier. I like the length. I’m 5’3” and they hit right above my knee when they’re unrolled at the hem.

The size runs one or two waist sizes larger than standard Levis jeans or the Levis Signature brand. And, they seem to expand as you wear them as well. So they end up looking baggy and not flattering. They do not shrink in the dryer. Otherwise they seem to be good quality and a heavier material than other brands.
