These shorts are my favorite shorts to wear in the summer, all though they are on the pricey side they do not shrink, the color doesn’t fade and they don’t wrinkle easy. The only thing is if you have smaller hips they are a bit loose around there but not to bad at all, great quality and material. The pockets are very roomy for anything you need to put in them. Overall recommend!

Ladies! These shorts are the ONE! For reference, I have a “toned” physique. (Pilates and weights). So I do have thicker thighs etc. I am usually a 28 in jeans, and based on other reviews, went up a to a 29. These shorts have the perfect “relaxed” fit, and to not have any stretch, are very comfortable. For me personally, I can tell that my usual size would have been a little around the waist but likely doable. Happy with the fit of the 29. I will say, due to the destruction in the front, they are a bit shorter in the front, but definitely full coverage in the back. Easily could be dressed up or down. I had an outfit in mind: (shorts, heels and a long sleeve satin blouse) and they are super cute w some sexy heels. Still not too short with 3.5 inch heels on. I will be buying another wash!

I recently purchased the Levi's Women's 501 Original Shorts and couldn't be more pleased with my decision. These shorts are incredibly comfortable. The denim has just the right amount of stretch, which allows for ease of movement without sacrificing the classic denim feel. The high-waisted design is spot on. It accentuates the waist and provides a flattering silhouette. I followed someone else's advice and sized up, and I'm glad I did because the fit is just right. So let me preface this by saying these are the CUTEST shorts. As advertised they do run small, I wear a 27 pretty much across the board and have multiple pairs in that size, but they are very fitted and very cheeky. These were a good deal, so I sized up to a 28 hoping for a little more booty coverage. There is slightly more coverage, and the waist is looser so a slightly more comfortable fit, but I think I like the way the 27’s look better so I may end up returning. Now to be clear, I use comfortable very loosely because these are not comfortable shorts in either size. They are very short and tend to ride up, which is great if you’re looking for a cheeky fit. Sitting down they are downright uncomfortable, there is zero stretch and the cut into your crotch. Sizing up did not really fix this issue. The cuteness makes it worth it though, so I just don’t wear them when I know I’m going to be doing a lot of sitting. Of note, the strings in the distressing do rip in the wash, so I wash on gentle and do not dry or you end up with just a mess of strings (known from past experience). If you’re going for looks, it doesn’t get cuter than this. If comfort and the convenience of just tossing in the wash and drying is your thing, keep shopping.

I love these shorts!! The color is great, they fit great. I’d say that the waist is slightly big, but if I ordered down a size I don’t think the shorts would come up over my hips/butt. Good quality.

I bought three pairs of these shorts, and they all fit differently. I bought two pairs with the rips in them, and the split color pair. The ones with the rips were extremely baggy in the legs and crotch area, and I ended up returning them. I purchased my normal size and they were too big, so I went one size down, and the waist fit, but they were still too huge, so I ended up returning those as well. When I ordered the split color shorts, I ordered one size smaller than normal and they fit perfectly. I love them and can't wait to wear them out! They're far less baggy than the ones with the rips in them. It seems like different styles have different fits to them. Also, these are regular denim, so they have zero stretch.
