    • Good random read and write performance for an mSATA SSD
The drive works great in a laptop. Also used it for a boot drive for a Raspberry Pi 4. To use it as a boot drive for a Raspberry Pi 4 you need an mSATA to USB 3 adapter.

I purchased the 240gb MSATA drive, but the chip only had 120gb of available space - likely one of two flash modules have failed. Customer service has ghosted after asking for a picture of the product and will not respond after multiple inquiries. Judging by the other reviews - there are many issues with defective products and quality control not including my own experience with purchasing from them. My experience with their customer support has also been non-existent. Buyer beware, it is worth it to just pay more for a smaller drive from a more reputable company. ... show more

    • Probably overkill for my project
I used this ssd in combination with an IDE adapter to replace the spinning hard drive in my G4 Cube. I was able to partition it and install and boot both MacOS 9.2 and 10.2 onto both partitions without issue.
