When the package arrived on the FedEx truck, it was looking pretty rough, scraped, torn, beat up and filthy dirty. I thought there was no way the cabinet wasn't destroyed. Much to my amazement, when I removed all the pieces, everything looked great except for one very tiny dent in the back panel, which is against the wall and doesn't cause any issues. Assembly was pretty straight-forward, didn't take very long. The end result is a nice-looking cabinet. This is a light to medium duty cabinet, good for household items that aren't too heavy. If you're looking for something to store your machine shop tooling, you need to spend the big bucks and get a StongHold cabinet or something similar. This is a nice cabinet for lighter weight items. I purchased this cabinet to house my detailing towels and chemicals. I like that it's mouse proof. The doors shut nice and tight, and the latch is nice too. Many mention the metal is thin. It is, but it makes it light enough to ship via parcel service. My driver had trouble carrying it and I think it's much heavier than advertised. It came damage free, there was one minor scuff but not a big deal. I think the packaging is about the best they can do to cut down on shipping cost. It's packaged well in my opinion. As for the assembly, I think the instructions were straightforward. They separately package the screws which is nice. The pan head sheet metal screws aligned the pre drilled holes perfectly. I do recommend a proper sized Phillips hand screw driver and not use an impact. The screws are designed to be snug tight and that is it or you'll strip out the sheet metal. Once assembled, the cabinet is pretty sturdy. You will have to adjust the feet to get the doors to properly close plumb. The shelves have a reinforcement valley to hold heavy loads. I think it's well designed for a low budget cabinet. I'm gonna buy another one when I save enough moneys. 😆 The shelves have a space behind them to drop a power cord if you want to use the cabinet to charge batteries. The cabinet is fully enclosed so you will have to drill a custom hole and install a bulkhead for your power. Check out my photos, I like it. ... show more

Yes, I'm reviewing this before I even assemble it. Why? The parts were very well packaged, secured, and protected. The gauge of the steel throughout is as nice and thick throughout; nothing flimsy. The finish coating is robust, even, and smooth The assembly hardware is all very good quality, not just stuff you'd expect to get in a product this inexpensive.. The instructions are clear, readable, just detailed enough, and even includes information on how best to unpack the parts! I just now ordered a second unit, and will probably order a third soon. IMO, so far this unit promises to be as good as similar ones sold at almost three times the price. ... show more

I purchased these shelves to put on top of larger tool cabinets from the same vendor. These are low cost, nice looking cabinets and come with 2 shelves. As shown, it is a pity that they do not offer matching color scheme. The cabinets have locks (which I did not need) but there is no convenient "handle" on the doors as in the lower cabinets. There are primitive magnetic latches to keep the doors closed. On cons: = The metal sheet is less than advertised, it is about 0.6mm thick. It is not enough when the cabinet is not fastened to the wall, but when fastened, it is enough solid. = The proposed assembly with included sheet metal screws did not work, the screws are either not holding strong, or break the hole if tightened strong. I don't recommend this method, and instead used M4 rivnuts and normal M4 screws to assemble the cabinet reliably and tight. = For some reason the package did not include any strong base parts. The bottom is just 0.6mm sheet metal that may be deformed by hand (see photo). It is not great when placing it on (uneven) floor. Some reinforcement is needed (the lower cabinets had special bottom brackets). I placed rubber stripes to create "feet" on the bottom and spread the load. In general the cabinet is reasonable price/performance and can be used for storing materials and supplies, for ~30-40 lb per shelf. Reasonable choice for flame-retardant uses. ... show more

It was actually really easy to assemble. It took about an hour. The shells are adjustable. It’s pretty big and sturdy. Will definitely be buying another one.

A well-built unit with upper and lower sets of doors. The assembly was not super easy but not too bad. The good news is that everything lined up as it should. Comes with excellence casters for easy moving. I've only had the unit for a couple of weeks but so far, it's a very good unit.

If you cannot possibly find this specific style elsewhere, then buy it. This cabinet leaves lots to be wanted. First off, the packaging was not protective enough. My courier literally dropped it on the corner and it survived, but the panels were dented from being packed into itself. Second, due to the thinness of the sheet metal, there are imperfections everywhere. It's not flimsy, but it isn't sturdy either. Lastly, the locking door on mine was poorly aligned. It won't shut flush. I have to slam it shut because the locking mechanism at the top of the door interferes with the closing, meanwhile, the bottom sticks out. So the entire panel is warped. For my use (shoes), it's good enough, and matches my color scheme, but for anything heavy duty, like you'd keep on the garage, seek elsewhere. ... show more
