Great, great value. I have spent over $500 on down comforters in years past that didn't compare to this one. (FILL POWER:) They are always so flat and unevenly filled, no matter how much you spend it seems- but this one really, truly is super plush and fluffy! I was so excited to see how much it puffed up when I opened it! (NOT CHEAP, QUALITY MATERIALS) it is double stitched around the edges, stitching is even and free of 'flyaway' threads. Baffle box design is sturdy (in other down bedding I've purchased the baffle boxes are a joke and immediately separate, allowing the fill to pile up in the corners) and keeps the fill in place well. I will say the 1200 TC fabric feels a little canvas-ey, not super soft to the skin, but that's what your bedsheets are for anyway. (Keep in mind this is STILL a down comforter and they are designed to go inside a duvet. Super soft fabric would also allow feathers to escape which this fabric appears to prevent 100%) DUVET: I LOVE that this comforter looks good without a duvet, and is offered in colors that prevent obvious staining... whoever in history thought it was a good idea to take something that has to be delicately washed and make it stark white obviously didn't do their own housekeeping. Also as I mentioned earlier, this is the only down product I have ever purchased that manages to keep ALL feathers securely inside! Yay! My pillows, previous comforters, feathers bed... everything has at least has some penetration. This fabric really does not allow for any at all. I hate dealing with duvets, they are so much work and they're so frustrating. This is a gamechanger for me! Last on materials, the fill. Yes the fill power/fill weight is accurately advertised. I cut off the tag and can't recall exactly what it said, but I was astounded by the percentage of down compared to feather fill in this comforter! I think it was like 90-95% down. I seem to recall that it was duck down which some people like to denounce. As an experienced shopper in this category (I'm spoiled, high maintenance and hoity toity) I promise, nobody can actually tell a difference in duck down and white goose down. White goose down would be 5x the price with half the fill, trust me, I have tried so many times and have never been satisfied. Finally, the absolute MOST important feature: Machine. Washable. That's right. As a gay man, let me tell you, I'm torn between having fabulous bedding, or just throwing a tarp on the floor and calling it a bedroom. You don't want to know how many bed sets I've gone through over the years and the various fluids that have contributed to their demises over the years, but let me be your voice of reason: machine washable is non negotiable, you need it. Just don't use very much (if any) detergent and dry on low heat. You'll love how it comes out (WAYYY fluffy!) Unfortunately you can't really give your down a strong, clean laundry smell without hindering it's fluffage. Just go heavy on the scent pellets with the sheets instead. Finally, I want to point out that I purchased a 'used' product ($80) that appeared to have never been opened (leading me to believe it was a scratch&dent/q.c. reject for some reason) and I still see zero flaws. Also, before I ever even slept on it, I spilled a whole bottle of vape juice all over it 😭. If you don't know, I essentially spilled oil all over it on day 1. That hurt my heart. I used my trusty dish soap/water, sprayed liberally on affected areas, washed 4X (first, with some white vinegar, only water on the subsequent cycles) and it came out just fine. No discoloration, no damage, and actually fluffier than before. I didn't need 4 cycles but I always neglect drying and allow it to sour so I have to do it again. Anyway, this was a long review lol. I am super excited to have found a quality bedding solution that is practical, beautiful, comfortable and affordable! I hope they are still available when this one needs replacing (I'm predicting it'll last years). GET THIS ONE! Forgot to mention temperature... I purchased in the middle of summer and use it very comfortably, and it's suitable for winter as well (I can tell I sleep in the cold at night) if that turns out to be wrong I'll update the review.

This comforter looks and feels great on the bed! I searched through so many duvet options at this price point and read so many reviews before I decided to bite the bullet and purchase this one, and I’m so glad I did! It fluffed up very quickly and nicely. It is not too hot, but is nice and warm at the same time. My husband who sleeps hot did not find it uncomfortably hot at all. I did steam out some wrinkles since it comes vacuum sealed for shipping. I will likely put a duvet cover for easy washing, but I think it’s lovely without one! If you’re on the fence, feel secure in buying this one!

This thing has the crinkle that I have got to have in a down comforter. But it says it's all seasons and that might be true in Canada. I wake up roasting hot sometimes. No way I'm using this outside of the cold weather months.

This is the best comforter I’ve ever had. My parents were both German immigrants, so growing up we always had big goose down comforter‘s. I’ve never found anything in the United States that I like this much. It’s super warm while being breathable. It’s also very durable. I don’t see it being easy to poke a hole in this thing, I’ve washed it with zero problems. It fluffed up incredibly nice as well. This is a comforter I can use year around, it’s very nice and warm in the winter but in the summer I can just kind of cuddle with it. It was definitely a great purchase. My English bulldog agrees, he’s always snuggled up in it.

I love this comforter so much, I've purchased it three times--once in gray pinch pleat and twice in white pinch pleat. My husband and I both like the feel and weight of this comforter--not super heavy, but not too light. One of the college aged kids needed something once the weather got colder, and I ordered her one in white. She just came home for the holiday and told me she really likes it. When needing to update the bedding in the guest room, I ordered one for that bed, too. The comforter washes well though it does take a fairly long time to dry, but that's my only minor complaint. I highly recommend this awesome comforter.

I have some mixed feelings about this. I love the twist design on it, because it looks more sophisticated and is nice without needing a cover. Even though I don’t use a cover on it, I appreciate the tabs it has to tie one onto it. The biggest downside for me is just how many teeny tiny feathers come out and wind up everywhere. It’s made my room feel vrry dusty with them, and difficult to clean because they are so light they just kick up at the slightest disturbance, making it hard to dust or vacuum and get it all. I recently washed it for the second time though, and I THINK there may be less of the tiny feathers coming out this time. It’s really the main grievance though, so not too bad. I would put a cover over it to help keep some of them contained better, but this blanket gets HOT and so does my room, even in December. I also have found that the squares aren’t always as full feeling, like I need to shift the feathers around in them to disperse it evenly so I wish they had a little more filling, but overall not a big deal to me. Oh, I also like the fabric! It’s a little noisy and my boyfriend wasn’t a big fan of the kind of canvasy feel? But I like that it doesn’t feel like I’ll get holes or tears in it. I had a cover a while back that ripped so easily out of nowhere, so I’m glad that this feels like it will hold up a nice long time. And it’s definitely very cozy!
