These plates are a Christmas gift for my mother in law; when I received them, I thought, “hmm, they’re a bit small compared to the normal cheap plastic plates we’ve been using, I’m going to return it” but after inspecting every plate (carefully packaged with styrofoam around and between each plate) and feeling how heavy and well made they are, and the color being BEAUTIFUL, AND reading the seller message that was sent directly to me saying they were microwave safe and dishwasher safe, I thought “man, these are so nice, I’d hate to have to return them just cause of size” I ended up getting the 10.75 inch plates along with what I had just received (8 inch plates) because of how nice they were! Very satisfied with my order, from how quickly they got here to the quality and the packaging of the plates, I’d 100% recommend this to anyone I knew that needed plates! These plates are absolutely terrific. I've had no problems with them in the dish washer or microwave. Every ceramic plate or bowl that I've used before gets extremely hot in the microwave. The colour is not as dark of a black as pictured, they are more of a very dark grey, especially when compared to my other black plates, but they still look great.
