Amazing bargain. Backlit keyboard. 5th gen i5 is a bit outdated but four threads is awesome for dev/Linux/etc. 1600x900 screen but I plan on upgrading that. Only thing that sucks is there’s only one ram slot. So I have to get a single 16GB stick to max it out since 4 is soldiered to the board. I’ve had this for 2 years and first thing I noticed was the web cam never worked and now it just won’t boot up. No power at all. So I decided to research the problem: it told me to reset the internal battery. I tried that… no luck. So I opened it up… there’s no internal battery installed. It’s only been running on the external one… it’s been running without the internal one for two years which makes sense because it never ran for long when not plugged in. I’m annoyed. Did I fry the thing by doing that? Why was the internal battery removed? Don’t buy refurbished computers…lesson learned. ... show more

    • Wouldn't even boot up
I spent 30 minutes with tech support immediately after receiving this laptop. It was stuck in it boot up mode. The customer service rep checked the important settings and we couldn't get it to work. The manufacturer didn't answer the phone when we tried to get further support. It seems like the most basic step would be to make sure the thing even turns on, but this wasn't done. I'm reforming right away and getting a new PC. I've bought refurbished before with great success. But this has turned me off Amazon refurbished for good. ... show more

overall its ok product.not bad for the price .they put keypad new.screen is fine .only thing is is under performing is mouse pad. its not smooth like normal .i have to press finger to make it work.Rest all part is normal working.came with charger .

This is the laptop I carry with me everyday. Have good amount of RAM and decent SSD storage. It's a very quiet and quick machine on which I have Manjaro MATE desktop. I didn't care that it doesn't have touchscreen but I am little disappointed that it's display isn't that bright or 1080 P as it was stated! I would definitely be interested in a little more powerful refurbished Lenovo gaming Laptop (I7 Processor, Nvidia graphics and 1080 P screen). ... show more

    • Poor battery life
laptop has a vinyl-type overlay covering most of the surfaces probably to hide blemishes, scratches, etc. Microsoft Edge annoyingly cannot be removed from startup. Battery life is not much better than the 11-year-old Lenovo laptop I replaced with this one. Seems to get warmer than my old Lenovo.
