I'm 5'9", 182#. According to chart, I should have been a Men's L. Had to return that one. The XL fits pretty well. It's still kind of tight on height between groin and shoulders (not enough to make my vc higher, tho LOL). And there is a bit extra around top of chest/armpits making me think that these might not be Male/Female, but unisex cuts. The front zipper/fly is really cool, tho! Easy on/off and "access" for male restroom stops. **Tall guys probably need at least XXL size with this suit's cut ** ... show more

This is a great wetsuit. I love the front zipper. I had to return the 3XL because it was too tight and short for my 6'1", 225 pound, 48 inch chest self. The torso was too short and that made an uncomfortable fit. It was hard to close the zipper. I returned it and got the 4XL, and the torso is long enough and the legs and arms are now long enough. Note there is a little room in the torso and it's not a tight fit. If you're near my size and want a tight fit, get the 3XL, but if you want more comfort and less tightness (especially if you have some belly going on) get the 4XL. The suit sizes run ridiculously small in the real world of bodies, so for every one else, go up 2 or 3 sizes to start and you might not have to mess with returns. ... show more

Overall the suit works great, I have worn it about 6 times now and each time it seems to fit a bit better. Using the shower when I put it on and off seems to help it to fit better and makes it easer to put on and take off. The big issue is the first time I wore it I had little black dots all over me when I took it off. The hot patches they used to cover the seams for the most part all came off the first time I used it. They don't really seem to be needed but I am guessing they add support of the seams so I bought some glue and I am going to try to glue then back on. If it did not have this issue that I am needing to fix now it would be a 5 start product. ... show more

I tried two other wetsuits with back zippers and returned both of them. The front zipper is much preferred due to the ease of putting on the suit.

Took a few tries to get the sizing right but these are extremely well made and so far seem very durable. I’m 5’8” and 190lbs. I originally ordered an XLS and it fit but rode up in the crotch a bit uncomfortably . I ordered a regular L and an XL and the L fits me perfect. Maybe a tad long in the legs but not a show stopper. Liked it so much I bought one for my son. He’s 5’9” and 140lbs and the M fits him perfect. We use these for SCUBA diving and have no complaints. I’ve owned Bare, Cressi, Oceanic, and Xcel wetsuits and I think these are just as good and for the price they can’t be beat! ... show more

I only intend to wear this wet suit a couple time a year and this is why I bought it. It fits me fine and protected from the cold water. I have a small inflatable sailing dinghy and I get wet while on the water. I am going to Maine in a few weeks and I know how cold the water is up there, so I am confident that suit will keep me dry and protected from the wind. I probably would have invested a lot more if I was diving or surfing regularly but for my intended use, it is perfect. and the price is really good.
