  • China works great!
China works perfect on TD50 using BT1 (sens) setting. I haven't tried the other settings yet. Looks well built and better than the Roland thin I had to replace. It makes me want to replace my other crashes with this exact cymbal.

  • Almost as good as Roland Cymbals!
Size: 18" Ride/Crash
I bought four Lemon cymbals about a month ago. One 18' ride, two 15" crash/rides and a 9" splash. I did a lot of research and saw a lot of very good reviews. I can verify that these are just as good as my Roland CY -15R and CY-14 cymbals. The rubber is a bit harder, and they are a bit thicker. Because of this they are a bit louder than the Roland cymbals. The triggering on the Lemon cymbals is just as good as the Roland's. You can't beat these cymbals for the money. Time will tell how durable they are, but if they last even 5 years they will be well worth the money! Update I have had these cymbals for two months now and still believe they are a great value for the money. I recently bought a Roland TD-50X drum module with the digital hi hat, ride and snare. The digital ride is amazing and much better than the Lemon, but it cost nearly 4 times more. The only issue I have with the Lemon ride is the bell is small and it has a hot spot right in the center of the bell, straight down from the logo. I turned the ride a bit to the left to move the hot spot to the right and away from where I am hitting the bell. Basically, the Lemon logo sits left of center as I tend to hit the left side of the bell. If you hit the right side of the bell then reverse the logo to the right and that should help with the hot spot. I moved the 18" Lemon to the left side of my kit and use it as a two zone crash/ride. The Lemon cymbals are a bit hotter (more sensitive) than the Roland's so I have turned the sensitivity down in my module. Great cymbals for the money and they blend well with the Roland cymbals! ... show more

  • A great choice for an e-cymbal on a budget.
Size: 14" Hihat
First off, I don't know what it is in particular but MAN I love the look of these cymbals. They're nothing super premium but they have a very sleek look and gave me a great first impression. For me, these worked perfectly straight out the box. I know some people have had a different experience with Lemon cymbals depending on their module and setup but this thing was literally plug and play into my Alesis Strike module. Some settings adjustments like sensitivity and HH control offset might be needed, I'm still tinkering with mine at the moment. They definitely have a bit of a cheaper vibe than other cymbals but I think for the price it's still a great option. The pads definitely make a louder thumping sound when struck but other than that there's really not much to complain about. TLDR: As long as it's is compatible with your particular module, a Lemon cymbal could be a great option to upgrade or replace a cymbal pad on your e-kit. Definitely recommended. ... show more

  • Great cymbal for a great price
Size: 20" Ride/Crash
Had to switch the internal piezo lead as I was having the issue where the edge triggers a bell sound - all told less than 10 minutes, and it works flawlessly now.

  • Love these cymbals!
Size: 15" Ride/Crash
That cymbals are an absolute beast! Once you get them dialed in on your module they are solid. Sound and response is on point with major brands. Recommended thoroughly!

  • Don't even hesitate if you need to upgrade your Alesis hi hats!!
Don't even hesitate if you need to upgrade you hi hats. I used these on an Alesis Strike Pro... Their hi hat whether on a hi hat stand or using the pedal struggle to function well. When I finally decide to buy this it immediately improved the function and even the sound of my hi hat.... Is it like a real hi hat? No.. Is it as good as the hi end Roland hi hat? No... But for under $200 you'll be VERY pleased with the way it works.. Some technical stuff: If you get this with the Alesis (only if you want it to be perfect), you're going to need to use the Alesis editing program to get a good closed, half open, and full open sound. There's a zillion YouTube videos on this. You'll make it happen!! Good luck!! ... show more

  • So Nice I bought them Twice!
This seller and value are great. I also got unsolicited support from the manufacturer . The range of sizes and the look are an excellent match for my cymbal set. I especially love the China. I have been able to create a set to mirror my acoustic set. Playability is equal to the great looks. I'm a fan. ... show more

  • Its both too good and very true
Size: 15" Ride/Crash
After reading lots of subpar reviews about the Roland CY-16R and considering the price different, I decided to take a chance on the Lemon 15" Crash/Ride. The first cymbal I received had an issue with the bell trigger. Their customer service contacted me (unprompted) to thank me and offer technical support. They helped me trouble shoot to determine there was an issue with the cymbal I received. It was easy/free to send back and I got a replacement that works flawlessly. All 3 triggers work great. Very responsive and seems very well built. I definitely recommend. ... show more
