We have a foam mattress and it’s too hot. I checked on the web what could be done to be more comfortable and less hot. One of the suggestions was to use non synthetic sheet like cotton or bamboo with a minimum of 400 threds. Combined with a cooling pad and it’s haven!

This mattress topper is luxuriously soft. I don't want to get out of bed it's so velvety soft. I use a 2 inch egg carton foam topper under it as well. But I highly recommend it. Best money I've spent in awhile.

This is a nice thick mattress cover, but it is not billowy or pillowy like the photos. That being said, I’ve been sleeping on it for a week or so and it does add a nice bit of extra cushion. It fits very well over my memory foam mattress and it hasn’t moved or caused my fitted sheet to slide. I’m happy with it and would give it 5 stars if it were as plush as depicted in the photos. I even threw it in the dryer to see if it would puff up and didn’t much, if at all.
