First off, make sure you check the size chart on the actual Leg Avenue site as the one on Amazon but has errors in some fields. I didn't even have a reason to dress up for Halloween or a place to go, but I wanted to give it a try and see how it looked on me and if it fit. I went according to my measurements and got the 3X/4X. I was afraid it would be so short I would have to wear leggings under it but it was the perfect length for my comfort zone and I'm somewhere around 5' 5". The only thing I didn't like about this costume was the lace sleeves that hang downwards. I didn't even realize the dress had them, as the model's background is white and they blended in. They kind of hung down limply and looked strange to me and others, but that was an easy fix and I just trimmed off the dangly part of the sleeves as the fabric didn't fray or unravel by doing that. The straps on the stress were also a bit loose on me, so be prepared to safety pin it in place if needed so it doesn't keep moving out of place from over your bra strap (you can wear a normal bra with this, as long as the cups don't come excessively high, but if it's patterned it may show through the cream color of the shirt). For those of you out there who happen to own or be interested in real, steel-boned corsets, this dress makes your assets look amazing, too bad my corset was an ill fit for my body shape and had to be returned so I wore it without one. I ended up wearing this to give out candy, definitely worth the money.

I based my purchase initially off another review of a woman of similar size: 22 and 5 ft 7. This fit perfectly! Does not come with fishnet stockings, which I highly recommend as it completes the outfit!

Super cute, Decided to use it for 2 years because it's just that cute! It definitely makes a bigger girl feel sexy and look sexy at that! Instead of wearing a hat, I went with a bandanna and let my hair down loose, sort of like "jack sparrow" from pirates of the Caribbean and it was really cute all messy-like. If you order a size up, it doesn't matter either way too, because I got a size bigger and I filler it out with more lace and just made the stop at my local material store/hobby lobby and got some really cute lace and added a petticoat underneath (black one- actually sort of necessary if you want that fluffy skirt look at the bottom, otherwise it just wont look the look you want, so going with a black (or dark grey/smoke color) petticoat makes it perfect! I hope this all helps! It really looks cute when you put it all together. And you can wear either boots or even clogs with thigh highs and lacy thigh high stockings or mesh ones, either way, super cute, will make it work!

It didn't really fit all that well. I did get a lot of compliments on it. Wearing it by itself wasn't possible. It was way too short on me, and I had to wear tight jeans to make it still look decent.

I'm a size 2x in tops and a 18/20 in jeans so I ordered the size 1x/2x and it fit me but it was just a tiny bit snug. It was a good length and it was comfortable except for the sleeves. They were itchy and irritated my arms. I got compliments and for a costume I thought it was worth the money.

I’m regularly 1xl and it fitted a bit wide. Nothing that some fix can’t take care of.. I bought the hat and other accessories apart. The dress is beautiful but the sleeves are a bit hitch. I recommend this one.
