This is a decent little guitar. I thought it would be garbage because of the price & not knowing anything about the company. To my delight it's been an excellent learning tool. I had a hard time finding a lefty, as you all probably have as well and it's Fender or some others starting at 300$. That's a commitment if you are not sure you are going to continue & reselling a lefty is almost as hard as finding one. I got the 3/4 size because I have small hands. It's been a really good choice for me. It obviously isn't going to sound like a more expensive guitar but it's actually not bad at all, certainly not for the price. It really is perfect for a beginner or someone who isn't sure about commitment to long term playing. It's good for younger players and people with short fingers/small hands. So I personally would say ignore the a~hat at the store who didn't bother to even get a lefty from the storeroom for you to try out and then tried to convince you to play righty "because it's probably better to learn that way anyway" and try this one if you're on the fence about the 300$+ for the other brands. You can always buy another once you have decided to stick with it. The only drawback for me, and it was pretty minor, was the stuff in the kit. The tuner didn't work well and was pretty poor quality & the strap isn't that great but I am using the wall hanger & picks which are fine. I would suggest that they include a set of replacement strings because I had trouble finding what they were. I believe it's size 11 steel strings in case anyone needs another set. I’m a violin player, but I like to dabble with other string instruments. After not playing guitar for over a decade I thought I might pick it up again. This guitar is the best purchase I’ve ever made! The 3/4 size is perfect for my short fingers and at 5’7” it fits well in my lap without being cumbersome. The sound is much better than I expected for the price. It has a stunning appearance and the green colour is vividly beautiful. I do recommend a string upgrade, but the strings it comes with are pretty good and hold tune well. The fret board is shallower than I expected, making it easier to play. I tested the tuner and it works well, but it does require 2-AAA batteries. Comes with picks and a very nice soft case. Overall thrilled with this purchase. Great beginner guitar! ... show more

    • A cheap, fun little guitar
I got exactly what I expected with this guitar. It is a cheap (both in price and in fit and finish) guitar that has a fun pleasant quality. My guitar arrived with mediocre action but with seriously sharp, poorly dressed fret ends (could not have been much worse if someone had glued razor blades to the edges of the fingerboard). A fret dressing file and some sand paper fixed that right up. After a few hours of play, I noticed some fret buzz on the B string. I discovered the cheap plastic saddle had a grove worn into it. I took this as an excuse to replace the nut, saddle (both with bone) and the strings (with some extra light d’addario’s). Now I have a fun parlor guitar which I pick up and play several times a day. Should you expect this to be a perfect, high quality, great sounding guitar? Nope. The tone isn’t that impressive, the low end is underwhelming and it has little volume. But that is not the point of this guitar. It is meant to be a fun, affordable little guitar that you can strum around the camp fire or play on the couch. ... show more

Not a good product at all. It broke the next day, just putting on strings. Do not waste your money or time. It looks like they used stick on wallpaper before the green front.
