Opened box and the guitar was inside a another box which was all ripped and tore and attempted to be taped back together. One string on the guitar was broke. (I suspect the guitar had been returned for this reason and they just shoved it back in stock) We took the guitar to a music shop here in town and had them put all new quality strings on the guitar.($30 cost) The owner said it was a decent guitar for a beginner. Our grandson is 8 years old and just learning so overall it was a good guitar for what we needed, I was not happy about the trashed box or the broken string but I didn't want to risk sending it back so close to Christmas. Left handed guitars are not the easiest to find and there had been shipping delays. ... show more

I replaced the tuning device that came with the guitar with another one and it seems to Tune it much more precisely. I enjoy trying to learn the guitar.
