My wife and I have long slept on a very firm mattress for our back's sake. Our overpriced Beautyrest has been developing cavities where we sleep despite rotating the mattress on a regular basis, and it's only five years old. I was worried that the Leesa would be too soft and, in some ways, it is. We thought that if it didn't work on our bed, we could put it in our guest bedroom. It turns out we haven't had to. The Leesa arrives in a large box. It weighs over a 100 lbs but I'm stubborn and managed to roll this this thing up our stairs and set it up myself. I DO NOT recommend doing this. Once unwrapped, this springs to life and you can sleep on it right away. Lying on this mattress is amazing. It feels fluffy, but the minute your weight is across this you can feel the springs kick in and provide support. I slept on a memory foam mattress for years, and this is nothing like that. This is a true hybrid and you can feel it. We've been sleeping on this for almost 2 weeks and I'm sleeping better than I have in years. I normally clock in around 6 to 7 hours a night, but there were a few nights last week where I slept 8 hours, which is unheard of for me. I love this mattress and I really hope it lasts for many years to come.

I usually start looking for a mattress over ten inches and this one is 12. And, after sleeping on it for over 8 months it is still 12 inches high. It kinda makes you feel like you're on a cloud. It is that comfortable. The top mattress material kept me cool this past summer. The material is made from some recycled water bottles. Maybe it's part waterbed, lol. But, the organic cotton and Merino wool sets this apart. My wife and I are both different types of sleepers. And this has made us both more comfortable each night. I would describe the firmness like a firm, but with a medium top. Very plush!!! All made in the USA with fine craftsmanship. It arrived in perfect condition. For years, I had a spring mattress and while it was supportive, I spent a small fortune on mattress toppers to get that softness I’d love while sleeping. Last year, I received a foam mattress and it felt like sleeping on a cloud, right down to the lack of support I’d expect from sleeping while suspended in the sky. Before this mattress, I didn’t even know what a hybrid mattress was. But now, I can tell you, a hybrid is the perfect marriage between sleeping on a cloud and being gently cradled in the palm of a gentle giant. This is the mattress you deserve to own. I love this mattress. This is the best night’s sleep that I’ve had in years. Several times, I have come to lay on my bed and suddenly passed out because this bed is so comfortable. It is firm but flexible and takes weight and pressure off of my body - almost as if the mattress curves to meet you in all the right places. The mattress itself is soft. It’s almost a shame that my sheets cover it. I share this bed with my boyfriend - who is a literal furnace - and this mattress, somehow, does not retain heat. While my boyfriend heats his internal body temperature to boiling, I’ve been able to lay next to him and enjoy what is essentially, the cool side of the pillow (or in this case, the mattress). There is minimal motion transfer. I haven’t tried to jump on the bed with a wine glass next to me but I can get out of bed, adjust myself, or otherwise move freely without disrupting him by shifting the whole bed when I move. Again, I love this mattress. So much so, I am typing this review from bed. This mattress is heavy and weighs well over 100 pounds. I have no qualms about this because this mattress is worth it’s weight. I have no complaints except that the mattress I received was dirty. There were several splotches of literal dirt on the mattress when it arrived. I’ll add a photo to this review that includes what the mattress looked like fresh out of the box. The mattress came vacuum sealed, rolled, and placed into a box. These stains were on the mattress itself so this means the mattress was vacuum sealed dirty and was not dirtied during transport. This was easy to clean with an upholstery cleaner but at this price point, I’d expect the mattress to arrive clean. I asked my boyfriend to lay on this mattress so you could get an idea of how it holds a human body. He chose to play dead. Please be advised, he is very much alive and loves this bed as much as I do.

I don’t leave reviews often but I have been amazed and thrilled with the quality and comfort of my Leesa Legend. We have two Legends now - one in the guest room (queen size) and one in our bedroom (king size). Both mattresses are equally comfortable. They are great! We bought ours from Costco (best price) but this is a value buy on Amazon as well. We will buy a bed from this manufacturer again.

We began with Temperpedic mattress for several years and began having hip and leg pains. We decided to try Leesa mattress and found it to be very comfortable with relief from hip and leg pain. We upgraded to king size and placed queen in a guest room. When upgrading to king size we ordered the next level up which is the Leesa Legend thinking it would be even more comfortable. Unfortunately, my hip and leg pain has returned.
