I purchased the black and cafe colors for work. The black was as shown but the cafe seemed to be a different style. The back pockets have this hideous stitching on them. As a woman with a big butt, I'm not interested in highlighting it with flowers and details but with well fitting clothing instead. Luckily, the fit on both pair, despite their differences, is so wonderful and comfortable, I'm giving it 4 stars and I'm keeping them. No one at work noticed I had a hole in my pants for two days, I doubt anyone will notice this. :) Cafe: has no false side pockets like the black pair has. Had a stretchy waist line but isn't elastic like the black. Has only one button instead of two. Had hideous flower stitching on the pockets to give reference to how large my butt is. The XL was too large but I kept it. The L is a bit snug. Light fabric. Washes well. Comfy. Alert: there are four pockets but the fifth and sixth cargo shorts’ side pockets are fake—just stitching.

I have ordered these shorts in different sizes, and had to return them. I normally wear a size 20, so I originally ordered the navy and they fit perfectly! I love them! Next, I ordered the khaki, and coral color in size 20, and I couldn't even zip them up! I returned them and ordered size 22. The coral fit as nice as the navy 20, but the khaki would not zip up again! Returned them and ordered the pale blue in size 22. They fit slightly big, but I figured the 20 would fit tight, so I kept them. This time, I reordered the khaki in size 22, thinking maybe they would come from a different batch, and sure enough, they fit a little snug, but I'm keeping them, because the 24 would be too big, and I need khaki shorts! I really like the style, especially the elastic waist, and there are no flaps on the back pockets. I'm rating them average because their sizing is all over the place! ... show more
