I’m a size 8, but a pretty fat-bottomed, American-thighed size 8. Thus, the lifelong search for good shorts that don’t: bind my thighs and make them look like sausages, ride up my thighs and make me pull them down constantly, slip down my waist and sag, or give me a muffin top. Lee jeans have been great, so I came here to look for shorts. I’m glad I did! These are long, but can be rolled up more for a shorter look. They don’t ride up, and stay loose around my thighs. They are high waisted enough to hit the right spot, don’t sag, and don’t cut off the circulation in weird spots. They stretch but don’t get stretched out, they are light, but not thin. And you know how other shorts, even stretchy pull-on shorts make you panic like you’re stuck in shrunken leather pants when it’s hot outside and you need to pee? Not these. On and off with no issues. I wore these on a boat tour through the Louisiana swamp in 100° and 95% humidity. I quite literally had swamp ass and these STILL didn’t bind, sag, ride up, or get stuck to my sweaty skin when needing to relieve myself in an outdoor trailer bathroom. 10 stars. These shorts are very comfortable. They fit according to the size chart. I like the length both rolled up and let down. The pink colour is very pretty. The fabric is cotton and breathable. Because the fabric is lightweight, My one complaint is that the shorts are slightly see through. However, that did not dissuade me from purchasing a second pair in black. ... show more

Comfortable, fits well. Khaki shorts are part of my work uniform, these are my 2 purchase and will buy again as needed. The only thing that would make them 5 stars is if the material were just a little thicker.

These shorts are very nice. Cool and comfortable. Which for me is a big thing since normally I only wear cut off blue jeans or blue jean shorts. With 100 degree weather these shorts have been really nice to wear and keep cool and comfortable. I love the big pockets. I read a review that someone returned them because of the big label on the back pocket??? Why return? If your careful, you can remove that big label. That's what I did. Sorry Lee brand, but I don't like a big label on my backside. Besides the Lee label is on the inside. I'm not one to be a walking advertisement. I order both blue and beige in 12. The beige is nice, it's not see through which is a big plus. ... show more

I wear a 14 in Lee jeans but I wanted these shorts to fit looser than I wear my jeans, SO I ordered a 16. Nice and loose - love the crisp fabric - and very cool. ONE NOTE: After I washed and dried one pair, the turned up cuff came down which is fine with me but if you want to keep that cuff turned up I suggest line drying or ironing it back in place - or maybe putting in a few stitches at the seem to hold it up. These shorts are 98% cotton, which makes them very comfortable in hot weather. I live in Las Vegas so these shorts are perfect for the 100 degree heat. I am 5'1" and 198 lbs. I purchase the 18 plus size and they fit nice. I have since both 2 more pair in tan and black. I hope this helps.

    • These shorts relax
After laundering them I loved how they fit at the waist and hips. Then they relaxed. By the end of the day they were too loose and I had to keep picking them up. The legs are also very full and baggy. My shorts do not fit me like the model shown.
