These shorts are excellent. Very light weight, man-made material. I wore them for almost two weeks straight in hot weather recently and they were very comfortable. Only reasons I did not give five stars are 1) Length. A little longer than I like, touching the knee. 2, Not the heavier cotton khaki shorts I habitually wear. I was looking for lightweight synthetic cargo shorts for hot weather, and these shorts fit the bill. There is a small amount of flex which makes them quite comfortable. The inseam length is just about right as well. The cargo pocket flaps have a loop that makes them easy to grab to open. My one complaint is that, for some reason, they stopped short of putting a cell phone pocket on the left side. There is one only on the right side. I prefer to put my cell phone in the cargo pocket on the left side. I find that the cargo pocket works better for my cell phone anyway, because I feel the weight of the phone in the cell phone pocket when I walk. Still, I'd prefer to have the option to use a cell phone pocket on the left side. ... show more

The fit is great, especially with the slight stretch in the waste. Sadly the cell phone pocket on the right side is too narrow for the S23 ultra to fit, and if I put it in the regular pocket and sit down, things get a little tight. Otherwise, comfortable pants.

I have several pairs of these shorts in different colors. I bought my first pair a couple of years ago and haven’t bought any other brand since because I like these so much. They’re lightweight, breathable and do not restrict movement at all. They hold up well to frequent washing look nice for many casual occasions. I can’t think of anything I don’t like about them, and I have spent countless hours wearing the several pairs I have. I just love these shorts, I have every color option, they have a nice phone pocket, the sizing is perfect, They do not stain easily, in the semi stretchy waist helps with bending over LOL.
