The product worked great, stuck AMAZINGLY and was VERY BRIGHT. Unfortunately tho like ordering anything online 3 key things always to keep in mind 1: you may get a faulty product [ with how many of these things get shipped you could get the package handlers that just toss packages hence them coming in broken or not working as intended" 2: could be an older product, meaning the possibility of it dying is not necessarily increased but overall more likely due to not being used [ longer shelf live usually tend to short circuit or just not last long in general] 3: Test the first 2 days to MAKE SURE it works, NEVER stick the product without using it, test it multiple times to make sure it works, if it even flickers or stutters SEND BACK IMMEDIATLY AND GET A NEW ONE THIS WILL SAVE YOU LOADS OF TIME AND MONEY. Review ________________________ As said before the product overall is amazing however mine Died after not even having it for a full year yet. I usually would keep the light on 24/7 and would usually always set it to dim, I do know that could be a factor in why it died so quickly but I've had lights at this cheap a price before that still last me to this day. If your marriage has been feeling a little too peaceful lately, I highly recommend these lights. I decided to edit my review after locating the correct plug for our lights. They now work correctly and my daughter loves them. I did not give them a 5 star because the app style doesn’t work all that well. The smell has finally gone away. This is the first negative review I’ve left for a product on Amazon. These were bought to replace my daughter’s old lights in her room when we moved and they were great for the first hour. We have several complaints- they do have a terrible chemical odor, the app is junk, they suddenly turn off or they suddenly start blinking and the only way to make it stop is to unplug it. The plug also gets very hot. You also cannot make DIY colors from the remote - only the app. You can only adjust the brightness from the remote. I would not recommend this product. I checked to make sure we had it plugged in correctly so it is not an install issue - it is the product. ... show more

    • VERY flimsy and easy to break the thin wires. Very easy to tangle with the same thin wires.

Crap. First of all, they came quickly. That was the only good thing about these. I got them out of the box after about a month, and the wires were so thin that they became hopelessly tangled when I tried to put them up. And so the untangling job took HOURS, and I couldn't finish doing that. But trying to untangle them made a lot of the wires break at the bulbs. So when I took out the second 200 feet, I had to have my sons help me very carefully in order to prevent another tangled mess. When I put up the second set, they looked nice, but when I tried to lift up and lightly stretch a section so nobody would hang themselves on it, that section broke at the bulb. So I fixed it by splicing the wires together, losing the bulb with the broken wire. It worked! So I put them up again. The very next evening, I turned them on, and about 100 feet would not light up. We were preparing for an outdoor party, and just thought, "At least we have SOME lights shining." But then, it's monsoon season, which sometimes includes wind gusts, which, as you may have guessed, broke the wire in another place (which didn't matter much, because it was in the unlit section.) So after all that, i took them all down. What a waste of $169. Pretty when lit up, the remote is cool, but useless otherwise. And I opened it too late to return them, and I didn't buy the protection plan. Screwed. Never again. ... show more

Love these lights. They were easy to install. For the most part, they stuck to my bookcase. The only adhesion issue was when the lights were bent to accommodate an angle. For some of those areas, I put some tape on it to help secure the angle. Remote works well but only when you point it directly at the sensor so think about where you position the sensor. The light colors are great and I love that you can dim them. The premade blinking options are a bit too strobing for me so I don’t use them. I will say some of colors are not true - yellow is more greenish and looks exactly like the green option, which is also not really green. But the red, blue and white are great. The purple is quite pale - feels more lavender than a deep purple. But overall I’m very happy with these ... show more
